Winchester va location. Went to get a new pair of running shoes and hiking boots. Walking through the doors everywhere reeks of bad weed at the entrance and directly inside (I now understand what the two employees were doing in front of the store). Head back toward the shoes, no one there to help. Immediately left.

Went thre to buy some new work shoes. Process was very easy. Scan the shoe you wish to try on and they bring them out. I had them bring out 4 pairs, they were very helpful and super nice.

I want to put a spotlight on the stellar customer service I received today 2/24/2024 by associate Marlene! Not only did she have such a welcoming personality but she excelled in her customer service skills! Please recognize her for her outstanding customer service skills and for treating customers so well! She is amazing!

This is not necessarily about the store itself but there return policy. I will never buy anything from Dicks ever again. I purchased a Christmas present from there which has seen rusted and they are giving me the run around. When I finally ask for a manager I was told it can't be escalated to a manager. Seriously Dicks u are terrible.

Worst return policy ever (and definitely lie about it). Tried to return $150 worth of gifts from Christmas. No receipt so knew I was going to get screwed. All three items "rang up" as being sold at their lowest for $2. $6 dollars was all they could offer. Any who has ever shopped at Dicks Sporting Goods knows you can't get a damn thing for $2, ever. I'm calling B.S. on their return policy. Going back to buying from Amazon.

Don’t buy a firearm from here. The deals are good sure but the gun buying experience for “new gun owners” are awful. I have bought dozens of firearms but my wife has not. While going through the paper work to buy her first firearm she had a question about one of the questions being asked on the questionnaire. Trust me, I know the person running the background check cannot help you on the check but they CAN explain to the person what the question is asking. That is allowed. However, the person instead threatened to kick us out and/or void the transaction because I attempted to read the question to explain it to my wife what it’s asking. Way overboard if you ask me. I would just go to an actual gun shop to buy firearms rather than a place like this. It totally ruined a normally awesome experience that quickly became someone couldn’t chill out for a moment and just help her out.
