My 2 year old daughter and I had a horrible experience today. We were waiting for my wife at the DMV, so we decided to check out the church. We recently moved to Winchester and have been looking for a nice church. However, as we were checking out the grounds, some older kids lined up and started yelling "get out of here", "this is private property", "this is illegal". I've never experienced anything like this at any church ever before. The teachers with the kids did nothing. Personally I think if these are the values taught at this church, they should take the name of Christ off their sign. I miss the days when churches were welcoming like Christ was. This one is not.

This a sort of dressy church I wore a sleeveless shirt and my tattoos seemed distracting Noone talked 2 me but my uncle took me to a pastor who prayed for me

The greatest Jesus loving family you can find in Virginia the rest are fake churches where they have 85 different ways to donate and all they care about is telling you how to give them all your money. Never trust charismatic churches stay away from them and only go to churches that tell you the truth and lead you the direct way which is the narrow path to God. Thank you Church of mountain view for being the honest Church in the world especially in times like this.

I started going to the church of Christ at mount view. Around 2 to 3 years ago, when I was going through a nasty divorce and I still continue to go there today, one of the best places I have ever been, they speak the truth from the Bible and only the truth if you want a great family atmosphere and truthful worship. Then the church of Christ, mount view is the place for you and the place for you or your family, you will not be disappointed.
