Candlewood Suites Winchester offers spacious, large rooms that function as a home away from home, with full kitchens and comfortable beds. The staff is pleasant and provides great customer service. However, the hotel suffers from a bad pet odor throughout, with issues like dog urine in the elevator and dander everywhere, which some find disgusting. While common areas like the fitness center are nice, some furnishings appear rank. The location is convenient, right off the highway near various amenities. Noise from other guests can occasionally be an issue.
The room and the hallway was so smelly - like dogs had been there forever I did wait a bit at checkin cause the kid was heating up his dinner meal Actually I was so hesitant to sit in the couch as it looked rank -we stayed there prior and it has gone downhill ☹️

Spacious rooms, Petersburg accommodation, they have dishes, silverware, pans to cook, full refrigerator, dishwasher,kitchen sink. It's like home away from home. Fell asleep quickly. Great beds and pillows.

This hotel did not have rooms available but wanted to mention that Amy went above and beyond to help us find another hotel close by since we stopped in at 1:30 am. This hotel looked clean with a fitness center. Right off 81 near Costco and many other hotels and food chains.
