Building Stronger Communities Together - A Heartfelt Thanks to Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity! As the team at A&M Roofing, we are deeply honored to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity on the recent Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project for veteran Ron Pendleton. The experience of providing a new roof for Ron's family home was not just a project for us; it was a heartfelt mission that resonated with our core values of community service and giving back.Working alongside Blue Ridge Habitat, we witnessed first-hand the impactful work they do in transforming lives and strengthening communities. Their dedication to helping those in need, especially our valued veterans and their families, is truly inspiring. The professionalism, organization, and compassion displayed by the Habitat team made this collaboration not only successful but also incredibly fulfilling. The joy and relief on Ron's face upon seeing his newly installed roof was a moment we at A&M Roofing will cherish forever. It's a poignant reminder of the difference we can make in people's lives through collaborative community efforts. We eagerly look forward to more such collaborative projects with Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity. Your ongoing mission to provide safe and secure housing aligns perfectly with our goal of ensuring high-quality roofing for all. We are excited about future endeavors and the prospect of continuing to serve our community together. The attached photo of the completed roofing project stands as a testament to what we can achieve together. Thank you, Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity, for this wonderful partnership. We are ready and enthusiastic for the next project! With gratitude and admiration,The A&M Roofing Team

Very low stock of anything. Looks more like a Thrift store for decorations. Everything they carry is overpriced. One item of interest was overpriced dramatically and was marked $425. I check on it for weeks and even ask the staff if the item price would come down. It did to $25 and they sold it to a friend.

Habitat homes are being built next to our property. We were told that they needed to put in a drainage ditch on the property line, but in order for our property to drain correctly as well, they asked if we were okay with them putting about a 20 degree slope on the edge of our property. Being the polite neighborly Navy veterans that we are, we agreed. They have now taken 4 to 5 feet of our back yard and turned it into a 45 degree slope. We are not happy with this and will be retaining a property lawyer. My advice, never trust the job site managers.

Difficult to locate employees in the store and when I inquired about making a donation of surplus building materials they were brusque and uninterested. The new plumbing and HVAC materials ended up in the landfill (which I was trying to avoid). Glad to see that they don't need donations.

The store was completely empty and the last time I was there a couple years ago, it was so full it would take you hours to go through all the treasures. And you might as well forget asking the employees why the store so bare, let alone ask them anything, because they are super miserable and seemed like they do not want to be there. the whole trip was just super disappointing. But I would really like to know why there was no merchandise. My guess is covid since no one would answer me when I asked at the store, I guess I will never know! Haha

You need to update your website with the items you’re actually accepting at the ReStore. People want to support your organization, and it takes time for them to do it. Don’t waste donors’ time, please.

Lots of building supplies. New mops, broom's and buckets. Paint and cleaning supplies. Hardware plumbing supplies. Clean and plenty of free parking. The staff is friendly and helpful. All the money made is for charity. We always go here first for any construction projects.

We offered to donate 4 - 3 year old kitchen appliances starting the process a month ago. So far we have not received a firm pick up date. The lady in the store said someone will call us to schedule pickup on Tues next week. It is now Friday and no call as of 5p today as to status of pickuo. Three staff in the store have now said HS wants the appliances...but cannot confirm pickup. We are seniors and cannot bring them in. I hope someone can bring clarity to this soon.
