“I had an amazing experience with Tisa. Car credit finance really really helped me out when I was in a tremendous financial bind and thought I had no way out. My car was towed by a predatory tow company in my neighborhood and held for an astronomical amount , Tisa and her team immediately got on it. Tisa consistently communicated with me through the entire ordeal, gave me options, was extremely patient, answered ALL of my questions and the final result was getting my car back and not only that but getting my car back completely repaired! At first I thought it was too good to be true and was skeptical about how it would go down and very stressed and nervous about everything. Because doing what they did for me is unheard of but they did it. Car credit finance/Tisa they are good people. I’m extremely thankful to them because I would have lost my car and owed thousands upon thousands of dollars. Tisa took control and turned what was a heavy heavy burden on me and turned it into me walking out of their office being able to smile and breathe again. Extremely thankful and thank you again!”

“This is a great bank!!! They are a smaller more local bank but still offer great loan and banking options. Very nice people and one of the few banks in the area that acctually acts like they like your business. I've worked with them for a few years now and unlike most other Banks, I've never had even the slightest issue with them. They always take care to make sure transactions are correct and offer some very nice commercial banking and loan options. If looking for a new bank or just an additional option, I would highly suggest them and am sure you will feel the same.”

“We have been using BOCC for almost 10 yrs now. We also have accounts with national banks. We are in the process of changing those national accounts to BOCC. Folks at the branch have always been nice and accommodating. I enjoy the small town feel. If I did have a suggestion for BOCC it is to stay up with the current trends regarding online banking and web content. When I need to come into the office I would like the small town feel but I also need the same functionality online as the national banks. Some of your web content is a little dated and not A+ material.”

“I recently joined AFCU and within the first month I opened my account to find 3 overdraft charges. None of my transactions sent my account negative so of course I was upset. I emailed the company at 8:57am identifying my concerns. I received and email at 9:11 am stating the mistake had been corrected! I get mistakes happen, even the best companies make them, it's how you respond that separates. I am happy with AFCU, with banks being over regulated and almost completely automated it was nice to get a fast resolution.”
“I just wanted to share my experience with United Bank on Route 50 in Winchester, Va and give recognition to Nathaniel (and I hope I'm spelling his name right). I had an issue with an online transaction that came out of my account for $500 and I thought it was gone for good. I called the bank and talked to him, and he started handling it right away. It went as high up as it could go, and he updated me the whole time. Eventually it was close to 3 months and every time I'd come through the drive thru, he would let me know and make it a point to update me whether it was good or bad. I finally gave up and chalked it up as a loss. I thought I would never get it back but here we are today I look at my account and the money posted back to the account thanks to him. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have gotten it back. I appreciate everything he did to make that happen and want to give him a shout out to let him know!!”
