Very disappointed as a William & Mary alum to learn that the bookstore which underwent improvements during my time there and was an outstanding store in a perfect location is now a sportswear store, and this new replacement is a clear severe downgrade.I don't blame the new store for doing the best it can after being dealt an unfortunate hand, I blame the university. But the only money I'd be inclined to spend on W&M right now would be a fund to restore a proper college bookstore on DoG Street.

Wide variety of W&M merchandise. Ladies working there are very nice.

For those who remember the charm and warmth of the original William & Mary Campus Bookstore on DoG street, this can’t help but be a disappointment. There is plenty of W&M merchandise, so the Spirit Shop part is accurate. Shop workers are friendly, to their credit. As a bookstore, this falls short.

Extremely disappointed with the William & Mary Bookstore... or should say "Spirit Shop"... or whatever else is left at this point from what it used to be. I placed an order for a frame for my diploma in July that stated on the website it was in-stock and ready to ship. Days later I receive an email from the store manager stating that the item was backordered. I reached out and asked how that could be the case when the website says differently, and was told that it was due to incorrect stock information. The item was pulled from the website and I asked if I was still going to receive it as I noticed it had gone missing, and was told yes by the manager, that Church Hill Classics was producing it and they were waiting for it to come in... This was August 8th. On September 28th, two months after placing the order - the manager cancels the order and says that the item was discontinued, yet it's still for sale on their website at a higher price. I contact Church Hill Classics directly, who stated that it was not discontinued and they offered me a lower price to purchase directly from them. Extremely disappointing, but not surprised as this shop can't even answer the phone... or carry books... Shop at the Campus Shop instead.

Good selection. Friendly staff. Parking can be challenging. Prices on the higher side.

you cannot call this a campus book store. You cannot even call it a book store. Before they moved things worked differently - now, if you walk in looking for a book, they will tell you that you need to order it online and they will have it delivered there. sorry, no one is looking for a worse more expensive amazon when they are looking for textbooks. The owners need to do their job and have books in the store or stop masquerading as the location for students to pick up books, it is simply not true.

Good selection of William & Mary merchandise and very polite and helpful employees. Unfortunately their in store stock was somewhat limited for clothing.

Walked the store for 10 min plus…NO ONE spoke, offered help…all three employees were consumed in their personal conversations and did not greet a single guest…Rude…
