Many are things you wouldn't ordinarily come across when visiting the area and aren't apt to be in any big box store. A real find!

We had an awesome customer experience at the Williamsburg store last weekend. Peyton was very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond as my mother left her credit card there. Give that lady a raise! We can't wait to go back again!! Thank you Peyton! #supportlocal

Lied about ham not having to be refrigerated and insulted family member when tried to make small talk. Will see if the food is as good as the reviews say. But good selection but possibly overpriced

Great variety of food items! Love the Red Rocker Candy! Staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome! If you are in the area .. you must stop! Worth it!

The gentleman working was super friendly and knowledgeable with what I was looking for. Pretty decent craft beer selection. Also all sorts of other things that are local like peanuts, honey, salsa and sauces. Will definitely be going back again.

Love this store so much I make a point to visit once a year for their Watermelon Rhine Pickles. Also highly recommend the Bone Dr. BBQ sauce collection.

Stumbled upon this store while vacationing in Virginia from NY. What a find.Maple bacon peanuts, Cranberry Chutney and Country ham. Everything was delicious, but the Country ham was exceptional. Jeff the owner was very nice and helpful in giving us info about the area. We will definitely be backfor another ham (or 2) and lots of other goodies at Virginia Gourmet.

One of only 2 grocery store around area for 20+ miles ( other being dollar general market) they have a great selection of beer and wines to go along with the variety of foods. Highly recommend shopping here.

Very friendly staff and owner. Nice selection of Virginia souvenirs (both the state and the University) as well as a large selection of peanuts. Don't be fooled by this though. Only buy Hubbs. Also stock up in February when all peanuts are 25% off.
