Wheelchair users be aware - not always wheelchair accessible.We tried to go into the store at 3:40pm on May 25th, 2024. The front door was unlocked but has a step, there is a sign that points to a wheelchair accessible door in the back. So of course I go and check the back door, excited to find a new necklace to add to my rotation. Unfortunately the back door/wheelchair accessible door was locked and I was unable to enter the store. Very disappointed thay an otherwise nice seeming store was inaccessible to wheelchair users.

I just wanted to post what a wonderful experience it is working with the Precious Gem! Reggie designed our engagement and wedding rings 38 years ago and I have adored them everyday. We have visited the Precious Gem through the years and it is always magical. We were just in 4/13/2024 and Debbie Walker was fantastic exploring and explaining different pieces of jewelry. Thanks again to The Precious Gem, Reggie and Debbie!!!!!! We truly appreciate all that you do ❤️

My husband and I shopped here for drop pearl earrings on our honeymoon a little over 18 years ago. My earrings are still as stunning as the day they were gifted to me. I've been loving this place for over 15 years! Reggie is amazing! The experience and treatment by Reggie was excellent. I continue to come back to this store because they provide great service. They teach you about stones and answer all your questions to make you feel comfortable to leave your most precious jewelry. They have fixed my engagement ring. My mother is a customer there and I have become one too. I have a few of their emerald rings on my wish-list. Couldn’t recommend enough to anybody that is looking for jewelry at good prices.Lisa took great care of me. Lisa is a great human being so it’s a plus!

My experience at The Precious Gem was incredible! I’m so glad my fiancé found them, they’ve taken care of all of our jewelry needs and will be our go-to jeweler from now on. They went above and beyond for us, from sizing our engagement rings to custom designing my band, the whole experience was so professional and perfectly crafted. We had the honor of working with Lisa who treated us like family and helped me design some pieces that were so sentimental and special and she exceeded my expectations! I would recommend The Precious Gem to anyone and everyone looking to be treated like a valued customer by the most kind experts!

If I could give 0 stars, I would.My spouse bought two bracelets each; one for himself and I. Cuban link 184.4gr 18k solid yellow gold bracelet. The other, 24.4gr bangle bracelet.Upon assessing the authenticity of the Cuban link, we discovered through two jewelry professionals that the testing revealed 10kt.18kt Acid test dissolved the sample immediately and the 14kt succumbed to the testing; potentially exposing plated gold.Upon returning the item, my spouse was intellectually insulted further against his own gold knowledge and expertise. Therefore lacking a morally acceptable business relationship. The associates repeatedly under minded & had the audacity to attempt sale despite the item being falsely advertised.The clasp was in fact 18kt but the entire item is NOT. The associate had the nerve to say “He received a deal!” A dishonest and morally injury deal! I think not!Initially to be respectful of Precious Gem and their business, the review wasn’t intended; however, upon his arrival the owner didn’t bother to stand up as a individual and apologise for poor service, he instead cowardly left it to his staff to handle sloppy work. The public should know.Not to mention the owner is often flighty and doesn’t show up for appointments, per reviews on this platform. Also highly pretentious staff. What is this? My hometown of DC/Potomac, MD AREA?! It’s ONLY Williamsburg ? Give it a REST!We as consumers, DEAL OR NO DEAL expect courtesy, respect, and honour. Exemplary service is always appreciated.Community trust is built on established principles and values, and this situation is NOT. Karmic retribution is definitely something that’s going to occur.To the Owner:Pride is concerned with who is right. Humility is concerned with what is right. Never insult someone’s intellect.You have lost multiple business initiatives with us, and good day!

I truly recommend The Precious Gem100 %. I had nothing but a positive experience buying the engagement ring.I visited at least 3 other jewelry stores and all of them just wanted to make a quick sale for the must expensive ring.

mr reggie designed my mothers wedding ring, and everyone fawns over it because it is just drop dead gorgeous. he also designed many other bracelets and necklaces for my family. good job! his staff is also very nice and has a nice sense of humor. definitely go to him for jewelry.

We have bought my wife four pieces at this store over the past ten years All are beautiful and timeless, but the 25th anniversary ring we picked up today is at another level. Reggie, the owner, made it to order, and it turned out perfectly! We were blown away. The store is not inexpensive, but quality costs. Highly recommend.

I called and scheduled an appointment. I drove 1 1/2 hours only to be told that they tried to call me to reschedule. Even stated they couldn’t reach the other people who also had appointments that day. So not getting my business. It’s 2023, send a text if you can’t reach someone. But that was probably just their excuse (e.g. they never tried to call).

Beautiful store and lots of nice, unusual pieces. Definitely not your average chain store!~ Life is too short to wear department store jewelry.
