Superb in every way. We were there for a Saturday evening, used the gym, and had a late breakfast. Our room was immaculate and luxurious and the bathroom beyond compare.

Very disappointed we had quite a few rooms 1-5-24 to 1-8-24 3 nights. Two of the three nights the fire alarm went off at 115am two of the three mornings and a second time on the third night. WE have heard NOTHING...many from the group has notified the Williamsburg Inn with NO response. WE had a birthday party held there and it included catering......NOTHING.....HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Even when we checked out there was nothing said.....WE will spend our $$ elsewhere.

The hotel itself is very good, and one of the best bathrooms I have ever stayed in. The service, outside of one great bellhop, meh. The price of dining is outrageous which is a shame for anyone wanting to stay on-grounds; that said its very centrally located that a very short car ride can open up a world of choice.Food & drinks: Way over priced. Get in your car and explore around.

It's pricey...like 5 star but not all inclusive...and it's traditional in decor..nice open lounge area with working wood burning fireplaces...there is room service...most issues come from guests staying

Amazing place to visit during the holidays. It’s dressed up beautifully and they offer fun festive drinks in the bar. The food was just okay though, I think we all thought we overpaid for the quality.Nearby activities: Walked in from visiting Colonial Williamsburg attractions.

We stayed there for our anniversary. The hotel itself is beautiful and our stay was wonderful. However, the bathroom was disgusting--we walked in to find the floor splattered with dried bodily fluid. Guest services took care of it the following morning but it had already tainted our experience. That night, we had our first anniversary dinner, during which the waitress mistakenly served me alcohol. I don't drink and never have. I immediately felt sick and was very upset that the restaurant of a highly-rated hotel had broken my streak of an alcohol-free life.Thank you for ruining my anniversary.Rooms: Room was lovely but the bathroom was very dirty. Floor was covered in dried bodily fluid.Walkability: Good walking distance from historic district.Food & drinks: Food was great. Unfortunately, the waitress served me alcohol by mistake, breaking my streak of an alcohol-free life. I got sick and it ruined my anniversary.

We were only in the lobby. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There were ample chairs and couches for sitting and relaxing.

Their outdoor decor for Christmas was very nice.We ate Christmas dinner here. We were seated in their event room. They should invest in new tables, the folding table had cross bars on two side that made it rather uncomfortable for two of 4 people. For being Christmas, the room was not particularly decorated. The food was consistently fair, nothing was bad, but nothing stood out at being great either. Considering how expensive it was for that meal, it certainly should have been great. The overall feel of sitting in the event room reminded me of sitting in a really nice assisted living home. I think if I ever go back, I'll have a cocktail at the bar and call it a day.

Location service and views were great! We came for a little “mini-moon” staff was great and we truly enjoyed our time. The only negative we had during our stay was the extremely uncomfortable beds.

I've been a Williamsburg Foundation donor for 15 years and have never witnessed such a blatant disregard for higher standards as with my recent stay at the Colonial houses and The Williamsburg Inn. This shocked both my wife and I due to our belief that Williamsburg, the state of Virginia, and our Great nation are represented by all aspects of the Foundations efforts. I see no need to post the images of our subpar room nor the chain of events that we experienced. I'll instead work with the foundation directly in hopes that our experience is clear evidence of the improvements needed to return these representatives of Williamsburg to the higher standards that we've come to value and trust from our great historical living museum, Williamsburg Virginia.Noteworthy details: Please see my review comments. I hope this helps you with your decision to search for or at least inquire about more suitable accommodations.

If you want to be pampered this is for you. Turn down night service with a nice little bottle of cognac and 2 glass every night. I will come back!

For 2024 forcing vendors to pay $250 on their recommended vendor list. That cost from local small businesses would be passed directly to you the consumer

Thanksgiving meal atmosphere was nice but food was very salty. Unfortunately every course was over salted.
