I've been taking my Golden Retriever to Alaina for grooming for about five yrs now and have never been disappointed with the results. She provides great feedback and my dog always looks and smells great when I pick him up plus he seems happy, too.

Found an item on the Petsmart website that said they had several in stock. Went there. Looked and tried to find someone to help for about 15 minutes. Went to the counter, the girl said "Tom" (?) was helping a customer load her car and would help us as soon as he came back inside. Since "Tom" liked talking to strangers in the parking lot, the girl was very helpful and walked us back to the shelf. She said there were more in back. "Tom" got involved and went "back" to get one. 30- freakin minutes later, No Tom. I walked to the front of the store to ask for a manager. (found a lady holding down a pallet with her elbows) Tom was at the front of the store, jabbering with a customer. I'll NEVER purchase an anything from a Petsmart again. Might fill the basket up and leave it in an isle though. See how they like me wasting their time.

I had a small 20 gallon fresh water community fish aquarium. For over 30 years I had been enjoying my fish. They would come and go, but for the time I had them I loved to just sit and watch them swimming around. I am retired so would stop and just enjoy watching them swimming around. This Christmas my Son, and Daughter-in-Law surprised me on Christmas Day with a 75 gallon aquarium new set up, including a cabinet stand. As a result of this gift I got to know the staff at Pet Smart on Montcello Blvd, quiet well. They have helped me purchases of fish and accessories for my to make a very nice appearance in my aquarium. After was all and done everthing looked quiet well to me. I purchased a large sunken ship to complement the aquariun and give them some adventure exploring the inside playing around the outsides chasing each other. Over it looks quiet well, and the fish seemes to enjoy there new home and I will continue to observe them. Every time I came in the staf was glad to help me in every way. I now have a nice home for my fish and I will return as the need presents itself.

Just abuse from this place- I went to go and grab crickets but they smelled so god awful and as a person who's nose blind to most things it rlly was BAD and then not to mention their under fed chameleon(s) pretty sure the others died cuz there was one left and it was extremely malnourished! I'm talking the ribs were showing and everything- Plus extremely under staffed and heard bad things with the grooming- I just don't recommend just take the hour long drive and go somewhere better.

They have canceled on me 4 times due to staffing issues and overbooking. When i told them the third time it was unacceptable they kept my dog from 8:30am to 4pm. Made promises of extra services and cutting my Shih tzu per the pictures i left at drop off and texted to the groomer. My dog came back bald. I expected some stress and fatigue for 24 hours, six days my dog wouldn't get out of his bed or eat. They also burned him on his hind quarters with the clippers. Will never recommend or go back. Rating needs to be "0" stars.

If I could put less than 1 star i would. For one, this Petsmart lights in the back of the store were completely off so it seemed very unwelcoming. We also had a lot of different employees just stare at us because I own a pitbull and it seemed that they had a problem with it. I already know that Petsmart doesn't allow pit bulls in daycare but it doesn't mean that we need to get stared down when we're actually shopping and spending money. I will not be coming back to this Petsmart because it was less than average . It would be nice If someone could reach out to me and make this right.

They cut my dogs nails too short to the point he was limping. Fast forward to the next appointment 3 weeks later they tell me they can't accept my dog because he has a heart murmur. Informed them that 3 weeks ago that wasn't an issue and now all of a sudden it's been a rule. They didn't want to service me as soon as I got in the building telling me I don't have an appt which I did and tried to tell me it's at PETCO. I had to prove to them I had an appt

I was denied a grooming appointment for my dog because the groomer said she was uncomfortable about grooming my dog. I asked her why she was uncomfortable she indicated that I complained last year about a very bad groom by another groomer. My dog looked like he was run over by a lawnmower. She told me that Petsmart allows their groomers to deny a customer if they are uncomfortable. Would she have been allowed to deny service to a minority? That's a pretty subjective call. Lack of supervision and training. Not the best business model if customers are important to the company. I have to wonder what goes on when the owners are not there.

I have tried to have my dogs nails trimmed here three separate occasions this week. The first time the website they were open until 9 pm for grooming services so I went up and it was closed at 6:15 pm. The second time I tried calling ahead and didn't get an answer three separate times calling so finally I called the customer service and she put me in touch with a girl in grooming who told me she doesn't have time to do a nail trim which is a walk up service because they're short staffed and have too many appointments. She told me to try tomorrow but call ahead. I called back the next day and was told the only person that would be able to do a nail trim is a grooming student. -.- if only in my job I could claim staffing to be an issue and get away with it.

This rating is for their grooming service. Our family just moved to Williamsburg couple days ago. I booked bathing for my dog at 1:30 pm. Unfortunately I went the wrong route (since I am new here) and finally arrived at the store exactly at 1:45 pm. Then the girl in the grooming service just refused to take my dog in any more, and claimed we were almost 20 minutes late. At the time I was there, she was just chatting with another girl, with no job at hand. They said, "you should call if you are going to be late". It was only 15 minutes late and how can I call when I was on the high way (the navigation showed wrong route)! I explained my situation as I am new to this area. I suggested a quick bath (no nails etc). They just refused, refused, refused, with no understanding at all. They said they were going to close "soon" at 3pm (it was just 1:45pm). My whole plan (regarding moving, need to make stops at several stores) this afternoon got screwed up. Combined with other reviews, I guess their grooming staff just don't care about business and hope for as few job as possible. I will never go to that place again.

We have a standing monthly appointment for our dog, Red's grooming. We have been using Alaina at the Monticello Rd location for a bit about a year and a half and can't say enough great things about Petsmart and their groomers. They do a wonderful job of calling us with reminders and then calling when they are done. Alaina always gives us feedback on what Red needed and how he behaved. These guys are ALWAYS busy so I highly recommend you call well in advance -- they are certainly worth the wait!

Painfully short staffed. Not a single grooming appointment available for a month. Management doesn't care if the store makes money or has customers or not.

I went in to get a bearded dragon and the man who was there to "help" just kept going on and every time I went to choose a transfer tank he kept saying that I couldn't use that one and that I had to get the $200 one so I left mad and extremely disappointed and with no dragon

My friend and I went to this pet store today to pick up a few supplies for our hermit crabs. We noticed that there was no store associates in the fish aisles, and we wanted to know if they had any hermit crabs. The two of us take our of 6 crabs already and we try to rescue sick crabs from pet stores when we can. My friend offered to go find a member of the team to help us out. He tried to ask Sharon at her cash register if they had any hermit crabs in store. She rudely responded with "we don't have any hermit crabs right now!" and used the intercoms to ask Kaitlyn to help us out. A few minutes later, Kaitlyn came over to the fish wall and let us ask her a ton of questions about the red claw crabs they have. She was very helpful and courteous to everyone that was in this section of the store. After we were done with getting the items we came to buy, we went to have Sharon ring us out. I was just joking with my friend about how much we spoil the crabs. As I began to put things on the belt, I was shaking my head thinking of how many things we've bought for them. Sharon then rudely asks "Are you okay?" with a tone not at all appropriate for customer service. I would like to mention that she did not even greet us as we came to her register. She only continued to have a conversation with the associate next to her register and ignored us. I then tried to explain that I was just thinking of how much we spoil our hermit crabs in defense. We felt very ignored and were treated rudely by Sharon multiple times during our visit to this store. We were grateful for Kaitlyn's wonderful customer service skills but were disappointed by the cashiers.
