Although my experience was not what I expected. Daniel responded immediately to rectify the situation and was very apologetic & kind. That is the customer service I look for in a company I am paying to do a job.

Newport News office sent Moses, Trell, and Darryl and as a business owner myself, I appreciated their immediate professionalism and respect. No damage to my belongings or my home, fast, communicative - they exceeded my expectations. In also active duty military and have moved several times in my career. This was hands down the best moving experience I've had.

Very professional, and took a heavy job and did it in a timely manner. I would recommend their services. The lead crewman, Kevin, was a great communicator and facilitated trust worthy services throughout the endeavor.

What a superb experience we had with STAR Movers! Jamel and Moses were kind, incredibly hard working, professional, and treated our belongings as their own. They had a positive, can-do attitude every step of the way, with never a discouraging word. We have moved 15 times over the last 40 years, and our move with STAR movers was, by far, the very best. We are very grateful for the exceptional service we received from this excellent company and these fine gentlemen.

I expected service between 8 am and 9 am. It is 9:20, still haven’t seen or heard from anyone. Nobody is answering the office phone either.
Edit: Kevin did show up at 11:30. There was a software issue and my appt wasn’t even on the books anymore. He made it happen. Thank you Kevin!

Pros: friendly, good price, availability.
Cons: inattentive( forgot tv remote, tv stand at my last home while packing;while moving furniture, left my sectional couch standing upright in windy weather outside the door, it fell TWICE, damaged my bed a lot, misplaced part of a lamp)
Hard to reach / get answers from once the job is done and you discover the damage.
I would not recommend them.
