The Raleigh Tavern Bakery is more of a food court than an actual bakery. The cookies are tasty but are prepackaged rather than fresh baked. They also have be beverages and coffee for sale. The building is colonial in appearance and is a replica of an actual building that would have been on the site. The staff are friendly and it’s fun.Vegetarian options: Most items are non-meatDietary restrictions: Prepackaged as before buyingParking: Parking at welcome centerKid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Accessible

We bought a blueberry scone. Luckily it was warm so we began eating before we left the business. The scone was burnt. We tried a couple more and all were burnt. The staff gladly allowed us to exchange it for a cookie.

Longtime favourite when we are visiting Williamsburg! When available, the fresh baked ginger cakes can't be beat, however availability varies.

Fun little place to get some authentic and some not-authentic treats.

The ginger cookies are tasty, thick and soft, which are great for dipping into coffee. I, also, tried a blueberry scone that was in the same lovely fashion.

Back in the day, you could watch the baked goods being made over the fire in the open oven. Times change, recipes change, menus change, and this is still a place to visit every time we're in CW. Personal favorite - the sweet potato muffin, now that the Shrewsbury Cake has been discontinued. Enjoy!

Great place for fantastic baked goods & drinks. Only outdoor seating on benches so be aware. It's also easy to miss so make sure you follow a Colonial Williamsburg map to find it. The small bakery is tucked away off the beaten path, but aren't most great discoveries a bit off your usual course?

There aren't too many opportunities to get food in historic WB. The chili was great and the assortment of baked goods has something for everyone. You can get beer, but you have to consume it on the premises.

Hidden behind the Raleigh Tavern. The bake shop has cookies, drinks, and snacks. The things like the Kings Arms Ginger Ale, gingerbread cakes, blueberry scones, sugar cookies, and brownies always make a memorable visit to Williamsburg better.

Lettuce was space and wilted on our turkey sandwich, bread was devine, and turkey was delicious. Queens cake always a favorite. Atmosphere fantastic. Gingerbread cookies really require hot cider or tea, maybe coffee.
