Beware: Horrible, Horrible, place to shop. I brought a gas stove and asked the representative that sold it to, how much is it going to cost for installation, and she specifically said THE installation price IS INCLUDED WITH THE PRICE and all you have to pay for is the price for them to take your old stove away. Well, for one, the stove was a week late. Then when the stove got delivered the delivery person said they Do Not do the installation and it will be a separate price. He also told me that Lowes do this to customers all the time and he have to deal with angry customers because of it. So, I call the store and talked to the assistant manager (Michelle) and she told me that the installation price of the stove will be over $500 dollars. I asked her can they help cover the cost because they should honor what the representative told me which was the price of the installation would be included in the price. So, the assistant manager told me that they could not help me. So, I told them to please come to pick the stove up. So, beware because the delivery person did tell me that this happens all the time....it may be a way to get customers to buy their stove, What a waste of time. I could have just gone to Home Depot. I will be telling everyone I know to Beware of Lowes doing this to people.

Don't buy doors from Lowe's. Wanted a side door to my garage - they actually had it in stock (yay!) and arranged for Poor Boy Construction to install it. Poor Boy arranged to install it on a Tuesday from 9-11. I stayed home from work to be there. They never showed, never called, never responded to text and the phone was busy. I angrily went to Lowe's. They apologized and after 3-4 hours managed to get in touch with Poor Boy. Poor Boy called me to reschedule for Saturday 9-12. They never showed, never called, never responded to text and the phone was busy. Lowe's told me that this is the only company they use to install doors. So I cancelled the whole contract, after wasting six hours waiting for someone who never showed. The Lowe's people don't like Poor Boy either, but that's an upper management decision. Avoid them.

Tried to deliver clearly damaged appliances to my elderly parents, both a refrigerator and a freezer. Both units had extensive damage to the heat exchanger coils. Completely untrustworthy.

I purchased a refrigerator on June 27. I have been delivered two damaged units I think actually that same unit twice. Since that time I have been unable to get any reliable information. I went back to the store yesterday August 2 to get an update because they either do not answer the phone or THE DO NOT EVER CALL ME BACK! I was told it would be delivered today. I got the robot call last night that it would be delivered between 12 and 4:30…. No show, when I called at 6:00 they said “it didn’t make it on the truck, and they would call me back (lol) I’m sure they are told to say that to get people off the phone. Not only do I not have my refrigerator I do not know when I will ever get it. I have tried to speak with the store manager but apparently talking to customers is beneath them. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES!!!

I bought a refrigerator there June 27 twice they delivered a damaged unit. I think it was the same one twice. Since then I have called the store and the main customer service number several times. I have had one call back. Yesterday August 2 I went to the store and was told my refrigerator would be delivered today. Last night I got a robocall saying it would be here between 12 and 4:30 today, no delivery. When I called I was told it didn't make it on the truck, and they would call me back. No call back. DO NOT BY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES. They are not concerned about me or any other customers!

Lowes, Williamsburg VA - employees in the garden center this year, wow really, do you intentionally like, hire the stupidest people you can find- and the rudest. Every year we simply have to access the stupidity between Lowes employees and Home Depot employees to determine which store to shop any given year/summer. It's a dance.

We went on a Sunday night. It was pretty quiet, but it was Super Bowl Sunday. We were there looking for something very specific. I looked it up at the website for that store, located it, and walked right to it. Fortunately, what I needed was in stock. And we were able to get it. We did have questions, but sorry to tell you Lowe's, NO ONE was around. We checked out at the self checkout and it was like a ghost town. I think they were having a SB party in the back, but who knows. We hightailed it outta there. After paying, of course.

I will not be shopping at any Lowe's locations anymore. We special ordered a gas oven to be installed, and one old oven hauled away, but before we could order the oven, the space had to be measured. The contractor that was hired by Lowe's was 4 hours late (7:45 pm), not a good start. Once the oven arrived, it was again contracted out to be installed (same company), and they again showed up outside their window. During the installation process, they noticed a screw was missing and the door handle couldn't be installed, but still installed the oven and left us to resolve it. The next day, I called Lowe's and explained the situation and advised us to either file a warranty with manufacturer and if we decided to go this route, Lowe's would give us another 10% off our purchase price so we decided to file a warranty with the manufacturer, we fixed the handle and notified Lowe's that the problem was resolved and we were told over the phone that we should be seeing discount credited to our account but it's now over a month later and we still haven't received our discount.

horrible management. horrible customer service. they installed the wrong microwave a year ago and said to keep it and they'd get the right one to us. it's been a year. no call backs when I've called to check. they have brought the WRONG ONE THREE TIMES to try to install, 2 times it was a completely different brand. this is the absolute worst store I've ever dealt with. Home Depot will have my business for life.

STAY AWAY from this Lowe's. We normally deal with the Mechanicsville Lowe's which is far more competent than the Williamsburg location. We purchased a brand new appliance. To our surprise, we found a disgusting, used oven in the box when we got it home. We called the store and they arranged for the oven to be picked up. They picked it on on 10/31/22 and were suppose to be refunding my credit card. They haven't given us our refund despite MANY long phones calls and conversations with Chris Cox and other customer service folks at the store. They are beyond incompetent at this store. I finally gave up and reached out to my credit card company to investigate their shady business practices. The employees at the Williamsburg store are either criminal or incompetent.....I want my money back!

The lady at the paint counter was awful to my parents. She accused us of using our paint wrong and told us we made to many mistakes and we couldn't return it. We went home and painted one small swatch and stain did not match the color we asked for and we came back to return it. This lady was a thin lady about 50-60ish with a long dark colored ponytail. We will go to Home Depot across the street for our paint needs. She did not uphold the return policy and paint loving guarantee on your website.

I called the customer service number and literally let it ring for 55 minutes. NO one ever picked up. I had to drive over and speak to someone in person. This was a PITA and unacceptable.

I bought two cans of paint for painting my patio and I chose a brick red color from the catalog. Mr Charles Tomaski was in charge of color grading. The color grading was finished according to the computer program settings, but there is still a big difference to the color card which I chose. I asked Mr Tomaski to make corrections, but there were still subtle differences in each adjustment. After 7-8 times, it finally reached a level closer to the color card. I know that because of my profession, I am very strict and picky about the color. Mr Tomaski has done it over and over again, very patiently for me, Thank you. Mr Tomaski. Now I am very happy with the color of my patio.

Good, but needs improvement. The few times I've gone into this location the customer service has been hit and miss. When it's good, it's great. When it's poor, it's atrocious. If you order online, expect to wait a few days before picking your item up - even if it's at the front of the store with your name on it and it "hasn't gone through the process system". There's got to be a faster way, y'all. I love the app, I use it every time I go to locate things quickly if I'm by myself. When with the other half, I make sure I've got time and nowhere to be... it's a mans paradise apparently...

I ordered a dishwasher and was told it was going to be delivered on certain date And I would be given a call the day before. When I did not get call I called them and was told the person who sold it to me forgot to change date. So I agreed that it could be delivered the following Thursday. i did get a phone call the day before stating they will be thirty between 8 and12. I had to pay someone to sit at my house because of a previous appt. Around 1130 I got a phone call stating they would be here from 12 and 4. So I come home and at 330 I get a phone call stating they will be here from 4 to 8. Now I am upset and tell them not to deliver. They told me I had to call store and get another appt. I tried several time to call and could not get through. So I decide to go to store and find out what is going on.the people at service desk were no help. I asked for a refund and was told no because they did not have dishwasher back.I told them you gave it to delivery person and it was not delivered and I want my money back. So I got very upset and asked for store manger to call me. The manger that finally came said he needed to look a at my invoice to get my number.I said if he had an invoice I should be able to get my money back. I finally left the store for the manger to call me back. I also had another appt. that evening. The manger at desk called me about 730 and said if I could be home it could get delivered. Thankful my son was home and was able to accept delivery. I think the manager still should have called me but never did. I will be spending my money else where. Your loss as I spent a few hundred this weekend else where.
