Just got out of the store and Jackie from "customer service" YELLED "I'M COMING" at me for asking her to check my ID at checkout. Mind you, she had already seen me at self checkout, heard "ID check required help is on the way," left, and I was standing there for several minutes unable to checkout. I didn't even know she was the one who needed to check my ID. It was super rude and unacceptable. I even apologized for bugging her when she finally got there, but she huffed at me, did not even check my ID (which I'm sure is illegal), very violently swiped her card, left, and didn't say a word. Then she greeted an elderly couple at self checkout all smiles.

The young man bagging, Fernando, noticed my neck brace and immediately asked if I needed the bags packed so they are lighter. That was very thoughtful.

About three months ago went into this HT to shop. Lovely store. Had to go to the bathroom. It was one of the filthiest I have ever seen but thought maybe they forgot to clean it. Went back in yesterday. Had to use the bathroom. Same thing - beyond filthy - very gross. I cannot go back into this store. Recommendation to Manager - Please make sure the bathrooms are being cleaned.

As someone committed to improving my health and losing weight, I've been on the lookout for nutritious foods to fuel my journey. However, my recent experience at the grocery store left much to be desired.
Let's start with the prices. I understand that quality comes at a cost, but the prices here are downright exorbitant. As I perused the aisles, I couldn't help but feel discouraged by the steep price tags attached to items like fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins. It's disheartening to think that eating healthy has become a luxury only the privileged can afford.
Despite my determination to prioritize my health, I found myself faced with a difficult choice: sacrifice my financial stability or compromise on the quality of my groceries. In the end, I reluctantly opted for the latter, selecting cheaper, less nutritious options in an attempt to stretch my budget.
But the challenges didn't end there. Even within the limited selection of budget-friendly items, the quality often left much to be desired. Wilted produce, overly processed snacks, and questionable meats filled my cart, leaving me feeling defeated and disillusioned.
In the end, while I commend the grocery store for its efforts to offer a variety of healthy options, I can't help but feel disappointed by the accessibility and affordability of these choices. As someone striving to make positive changes in my life, I hope to see more affordable options available to support individuals on their journey to better health. Until then, the struggle to balance health and budget continues.

My favorite grocery store in Williamsburg! Always clean and well-stocked, and the employees are very friendly! They also have Ukrop's food, which isn't always easy to find!
