If I could give no stars I would. Worst experience ever with a Great Clips. My son just turned 3 and I have always had to have him sit in my lap to cut his hair. Never been an issue at any Great Clips. Not only did they refuse to cut his hair, one of the hairdressers was extremely rude and snappy. Ma’am, if you have never cut a kids hair on someone’s lap, maybe you should learn or find another profession. So needless to say, if you have a kid that needs extra attention for a hair cut, don’t go there. I ended up going to the other Great Clips in Williamsburg and they did amazing with my son! And yes, they allow kids to sit on parents laps if needed….

Even though there were no customers waiting, the "stylist" ran through my cut in about 5 minutes. Hair all over my face. She said that hair just falls straight down. Made no effort at any time to get the hair off my face not even when she was done! And not a good job either! She left my hair a mess at the end--made no attempt to brush it nicely. She stood there while I tried to straighten it with my fingers! I asked her if she had an urgent appointment to get too. She asked why I asked that. I told her shebwent so fast. She told me she's just naturally quick! I've gone to other locations and I know they don't treat their customers this way.

The whole cut was very rushed and rough. My barber cut my hair way shorter than I wanted it and barely blended it. My head hair and facial hair are not even at all to the point I’m currently wondering if I should try to salvage it or just shave it all off.
I was charged $33 for the worst hair cut of my life.

I was charged $22 for an inch trim. It took 5 minutes and something I could have done myself. The stylist didn't even wash my hair. Isn't a hair wash part of it or do I have to say it?

Bad customer service, and a bad haircut! I asked for a trim and still saw split ends after! The lady cutting my hair was impatient and slightly rude!

Writing for my husband:I went in for a fade and came out looking crazy. The stylist was very short with talking and rude. She didn't blend any layer including my top where there is a clear line of long vs short hair. She asked if I wanted product in it and I said no thanks and she rolled her eyes. Very unprofessional. I don't recommend this location.

I give them 3 stars because of their courtesy. But I went there asking for a formal fishtail braided updo. And I get a regular braid bun. Needless to say I had discussed the importance of getting this done right because I was going to a formal and yet it looked NOTHING like the picture I showed her.

This Great Clips gave me the worst haircut and provided the worst service I have ever seen in my entire life. First I walk in and there is one person ahead of me and the fat monstrosity red headed woman completely ignored me because she had a customer walk in 5 minutes after me that she knew and intentionally ignored me. This was only the beginning. I asked the black woman who was cutting me hair to give me a medium fade, which is a very basic haircut that most men my age usually get because it is simple and easy to maintain. She butchered my hair in a way I did not know was possible. I did not get a fade she just cut it the way she wanted to then at the end of the hair cut said "Issa fade doe I faded it" while smacking her lips at me when I questioned her. The next day I woke up and the back of my head was strangely itchy and red and it did not take me long to realize that she was a lazy slob who did not even take the time to clean her clippers. This primate used dirty clippers that were in someone else's nasty hair intentionally and didn't care enough to clean them. Stay far away from this sorry excuse for a trash haircut place.

Have been going here for over a year. Went after church for a trim, shampoo and blow dry (it was chilly outside). Normally, I have no complaints as it normally costs me $30. Or less for the same thing. It cost me $68. W/tip this trip. I go about every other month. The turnover here is bad as I never see the same workers twice either. Anyway, I doubt a coupon would have helped. The gentleman who did my hair did a great job, however they have just lost me as a customer as this is entirely more than my budget can handle.
