Don't go to this location for service if you have to interact with Gus as he is very angry, cranky and abrasive. I've worked with the other service coordinator (Chris?)who was friendly and helpful and was able to fix my vehicle's issue. Recently, I had an emergency where my vehicles alarm system was malfunctioning and I called and got Chris who said he would try to work me in, but Gus got on the line and said they could not help me and basically told me to go elsewhere. Good thing I called the Hampton Mercedes dealership who were able to help me over the phone. I think if they are not knowledgeable about certain car issues or if they don't want to be bothered,
European's response will be to tell you they cannot help you.

I use European Cars of Williamsburg for maintenance on my 2 European cars...Smart Fortwo and BMW Z3.
Personnel are are great... exerienced and friendly.
Great sales person. I purchased the Z3 from here.
Glad this business is in Williamsburg.

From start to finish my experience with European Cars of Williamsburg was professional, hassle free and flawless. I called and wanted to schedule an oil change and tire rotation for my Mercedes. The person who I spoke to was honest and straightforward with me regarding time and cost for the aforementioned services.
I dropped off my car at 7:45am and left my keys in the drop box and within an hour they had texted me a link to a form where I could approve or decline service. Each individual service was broken down by price and the form itself was easy to read and navigate. Once I approved service it took no more than an hour and a half to get a text that my car was ready. When I checked out I added new windshield wipers (front and back) to my order but they didn’t have the back wiper in store at the time but said I could come back within a few hours and it would be ready.
I was unable to go back for a week for the wiper and when I got there I was helped by someone new but he knew exactly what I was talking about without having to look it up and went and got the wiper and changed it out in 2 minutes. This clearly shows that the staff communicates with each other which in-turn allows for a hassle free experience for the customer.
The prices were reasonable and fair and they never once tried to sell me services I didn’t need. Very highly recommend European Cars of Williamsburg and this is now my go to spot for my Mercedes.

Gus, Chris & staff are always friendly. As a female, I never felt uncomfortable. They do amazing work. If you have a European vehicle, this place is the best when it comes to maintenance for your vehicle!

Very disappointed in this place. I recently had my audi previously taken there for service with no problems. But for my second audi it was a different story. I spoke with Chris, he is very nice and helpful to customers and he said he would take care of my problem giving me a very good quoted price for repairing a defective ignition switch. He promised to call me back to see if the parts were still available before I towed my car in. I never received a call back. 2 days later I called back myself seeing for an update and someone awnsered named Gus, I pleaded him for me to speak to Chris but he said he was "busy" so I wouldn't have to explain the whole situation all over again but he refused constantly even though I offered for him to ask Chris to please give me a call back. Gus gave me a whole different quoted price for a diagnostic which was three times the price Chris quoted me at first and told me that he would hope that he would be able to fix it. That's not what Chris told me. Gus said he was the boss and I guess that means he can make up prices as he pleases. Very disappointed in this company thanks to Gus.

Gus was very helpful in sorting out my Jaguar subframe issue. He stepped up when even Jaguar dealership wouldn’t.The work was first class and would very much be a repeat customer!

My Volvo started shaking bad so I drove it straight there as it was close by. I did not have an appointment and was prepared to leave my car there for however long it took. He told me I could not leave it there due to insurance. This place is in the country, not Manhattan, and he had plenty of empty spaces. I routinely leave my car at garages for lengths of time, because I try and drop them off when I am going out of town and don't need it.
