I bought a pair of earrings from here more than five years ago. They still look as beautiful as the day I bought them. We will be back on our next trip through the Williamsburg area!

Located in Williamsburg for 50 years, Danforth was formerly Shirley Pewter. Handcrafted, gorgeous pewter creations range from traditional reproductions to modern pieces. The employees are all helpful and knowledgeable and store manager Laura is has worked here for 20 years. There is a whopping 20% off an item just for checking in! This is a perfect stop on a visit to Colonial Williamsburg for a wedding gift or a beautiful souvenir. There is an interior designer on staff to assist with any questions.

Such a special store. Handcrafted. Quality. Beautiful pieces. I love everything. I get earrings every time I visit. I receive lots of compliments on my cross necklace too!

The Simichrome Polish they sold me worked wonderfully on our polished pewter. I appreciate their advice! Clearly they were not just interested in simply pushing product but were truly interested in their craft. In the age of on-line shopping and short staffed retail, Danforth Pewter is a refreshing and notable exception! If in Williamsburg, I would recommend a visit.

I have never been to this location.. But I needed to ask them about about another location that is/was closer to my home. I also to ask about their Online Store. The lady who answered was extremely helpful and I can tell she is/was a very nice lady. I can spot fake kindness from more than a mile away, but the kindness of this lady came right through via telephone and that can only happen when folks are genuinely kind. Although I am not certain when I will travel to or near this store, but if I'm in the area, I'll be sure to stop by here. By the way, they have a very cool and very easy to navigate Online Store too.

Sweet little shop with wonderful customer service. Quality, hand made products.We {unknowingly} stayed passed.closing and they never once made us feel rushed. We'll be back.
