The cvs phone system is the farthest thing from patient centric and/or customer service. The store is disasterously understaffed.

I have always had a good experience with this pharmacy until recently. I reluctantly accepted the direction of someone working in the pharmacy who chose to wear a nose ring and dog collar. I should have trusted my gut.
I had just run out of a prescription which was delayed almost a week for a prior authorization due to an error at my doctor’s office. I prefer not to drive without this medication but had to resolve the problem in person. Once resolved, I went over to CVS at 11 am. I told this staff member with the dog collar that I would wait to avoid extra driving without this medication, however she told me it wouldn’t be ready until 5 pm.
I drove home and 15 minutes later, as I arrived home, I received a text that my Rx was ready. So, I had to drive another round trip for an additional 30 minutes of driving.
When someone clearly expresses a concern, as I did, it should be handled with professionalism by the staff. I didn’t want to judge unfairly based upon appearance, however, the facial piercings and dog collar was an accurate reflection of this staff member’s level of professionalism.

Always a pleasure to shop at CVS with help if needed. And help from the pharmacist about which allergy medicine is right for me,

I have had nothing but great experiences with the pharmacy staff at this location. They go out of their way to fully inform and educate, they always look for the best options whether insurance or discount programs, and despite the grim customers that seem to paint the most negative of perspectives, they always are friendly and professional.
I am very pleased with the staff at our CVS.

The store is well-stocked, but don't ask questions or try to buy anything. With two people online at the pharmacy - it took more than 8 minutes for me to get to the head of the line where the pharmacy employee (who wouldn't look at me) acted deaf when I asked a question. Then, I realized someone on the other side of the pharmacy was shouting out an answer I couldn't hear. A third employee who was closer shouted out the answer too. The first person was still staring mutely into space when I left. When I finally got the three items I needed, I waited to check out for another 7 or 8 minutes behind ONE person online. Then I realized there were self-checkouts. Like I said, they don't want you to spend your money in this store.

Avoid this CVS . Terrible customer service at the pharmacy. Went in to pickup a prescription that was supposedly ready. Total waste of time at the drive thru and at the counter. Was attended by the Kermit the frog looking hair pharmacy tech and given the worst customer service. Was not at all helpful or understanding. I had to repeat myself many times about the Medication. The online system said it was ready as well as the automated phone system told me it’s ready for pick up. She/her/them was very condensing and rather arrogant. Listen you muppet, keep your bad attitude at the swamp . I would not recommend anyone use this pharmacy at this location.

I do not recommend using this pharmacy. My husband has been there three times and his prescription still isn’t correct nor is it ready. It has been a mess trying to get his medication. There are a couple of young men that work in the pharmacy that are very rude and extremely unhelpful. Save yourself the time and trouble and go to another pharmacy.

I just had the worst experience here. The pharmacist or whatever she is knows nothing about sympathy for people who are clearly shaken and upset. She escalated everything by snapping at me instead of recognizing someone who is afraid and needs immediate help, which is part of her job as a professional. My son was having an asthma attack and I needed an inhaler that the other CVS said showed available. I was shaking and scared for my son and didn’t have time to wait, considering I’d already been waiting quite a long time for the pharmacy to open. She has no understanding of how to help someone in distress, so she definitely shouldn’t be a doctor, if that’s what she is. I used to go to the Richmond Rd CVS and had much better experiences. People there were friendlier and understood better how to treat people. This pharmacist was totally unprofessional and unequipped mentally to deal with people. I’ve worked in customer service most of my life running companies and know how to handle delicate and tense situations. You are supposed to be the calm one. The customers around me had more common sense and empathy, which tells me that they were sympathetic and caring, unlike those whose job it is to be that way. Get another job if you don’t want to deal with people. Work in a cubicle. She did get me the prescription after making one of the worst experiences in a business I’ve ever had. It’s a credit to the customers around me who witnessed it that were courteous enough to let me go ahead of them and could see my exasperation and fear for my son. It was because of them that helped me through it, especially a lady who said she could understand how I was feeling. God bless that lady. God bless that pharmacist that maybe one day she’ll be in a similar situation and someone will show her grace, mercy, and kindness instead of what she showed me.

THEY HUNG UP ON ME Terrible service! I called to check on a prescription for my mother-in-law; after 6 minutes on hold the clerk said "we're working on her prescription now", when asked when it will be ready, THEN she told me "we are out of stock" (codeine #3s - super common medicine)! "It might come in Thursday" (it's Tuesday, they got the script Monday). I said "You were going to let this woman sit in pain for days?" She hung up on me.....
