We came to town for High School graduation. This B&B is located across the street from the College of William and Mary. Very nice location. Easy straight half mile walk to the walking zones in Williamsburg. We stayed in Mary Washington’s room. The bed slept well. I am old enough my joints and back can ache.. this bed had no pressure points that impacted me. Wife and I both slept soundly two nights. The parlor had current newspapers and magazines, cards and board games. We found the fridge and coffee machine in the breakfast area. Which was great. Breakfast was presented above norms and tasted great. If you don’t like their dish of the morning, I know they’ll try to find an alternative .. didn’t explore other alternatives. (My wife wanted oatmeal and they made it fancy) Alex was an excellent host. I did connect to the WiFi and it worked great.
Quiche on Sunday was great.
Rooms: Comfortable beds. We slept soundly with our tossing and turning. Full bath in all rooms. Wi-Fi is available.
Nearby activities: Nice restaurants and shops nearby.
College of William and Mary across the street.
Walkability: Very easy walking distance to down town.

The positives are the location. Outside landscaping... Minus the shrub blocking the one lane driveway which is difficult to see around and hits the side of bigger SUVs. Very pretty house. Breakfast was good. Owners and manager were nice. The rooms... While quaint need a really good sprucing up. I have been to many B&Bs that are old but super clean and kept up. Our room needed a good deep clean on baseboards and shower and walls... Could use a fresh coat of paint. TV in room might as well have been a radio. Room was advertised to have a fridge and coffee maker and had neither. I know people love the "old" charm of places like this. But having stayed at two other super clean rooms in B&Bs in Gettysburg and Fredericksburg this was a bit on the dingy side.

A beautiful house, a great host, yummy homemade breakfast and a short walk to Colonial Williamsburg - which is one of the best historical places we've ever visited.

Alex and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay! The breakfast was delicious each morning and we were a short 15 minute walk from downtown Williamsburg. It was the perfect place to stay for our visit and the staff could not have been more inviting!

5 stars across the board. Great rooms, great food, great service. We had a large group come in from Chicago for a comedy festival, and not only did Alex put up a Chicago flag and buy a bottle of Malört, but he also went to pick up an amp from a friend of his for our show when the one we had set up to use was no longer available. Above and beyond. Hope to make it back again sometime soon.

Central location, beautiful rooms, and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.
Food & drinks: They cater to many dietary restrictions! The vegan breakfasts were good.

Could not recommend this B&B more! I had an amazing time here, the staff was friendly and welcoming, food was great and I felt super safe as a solo female traveler! My only complaint is that I didn’t stay longer!Safety: This was my first solo trip and I felt completely safe at the B&B but also in the surrounding area!Food & drinks: Great breakfast, welcoming environment, with lots of tea options :)Noteworthy details: The room was adorable! I also loved the living room area that had a fire place, super cozy for winter time.

An excellent B&B all around! We stayed in the Juniper Suite in December. The room was bright and sunny for a good reading atmosphere during the day. The fireplace kept us warm at night. Breakfast both days was excellent. A perk is that Merchant Square and Colonial Williamsburg is only a ten minute walk. Thank you for providing a great place to stay during our visit.

Excellent!!! We just finished our four day stay here and if I could give 10 stars I would. Alex our host was incredible. The daily breakfast was the best. I don't usually finish all my food but here I did. Our room was the perfect size for us. The cedars is close to everything. Great location. A definite must stay while in Williamsburg. You won't be disappointed.

We're on our third day here and winding down to the end of a two week vacation. I'm so happy we chose The Cedars of Williamsburg for the finale. Super quaint and comfy, comfortable and warm. Alex the owner greets you every morning and serves you a delicous hot breakfast made from scratch. Some of the best I've had. Its central location makes access to Colonial Williamsburg , Jamestown and Yorktown a breeze! And Alex is super knowlegeable about all the local attractions. Stoked on Cedars Of Williamsburg give it a shot you will be to!!!

Booked the William Lee room during the Christmas holiday and it was an experience we'll never forget. Upon arrival, Mary greeted us and gave a quick tour. The next morning (Christmas), she was joined by Leroy and served breakfast and gave all the guests the history of the house and Williamsburg facts. It would be easy to be grumpy to have to work on Christmas, but this definitely wasn't the case. Alex the owner served us breakfast the next morning and was extremely personable. It was sad we had to leave after only two nights, but he told us some of the better times to visit again. Can't wait!
