I found this shop after I got an old ford truck that needed some work on the wiring and also needed disc brakes. After checking around and looking at reviews I gave them a call. After chatting with the owner, I felt very comfortable about taking my truck to them. Upon arrival, all people were very nice. My truck was completely rewired front to back (they did a beautiful job) and also had a front disc brake set put on. My truck was at the shop for a long time but to be fair, the shop has gone through some major changes recently. The owners wife ended up with a broken ankle and had to be home along with the owner for a while so he could tend to her. Not too much longer later, the owner (John) ended up passing away. John was the driving force behind the shop. After his passing, the guys and Johns wife, who is extremely sweet and very nice, had to pick up the pieces and keep the shop moving forward. After getting my truck back from the shop the first time, the brakes were not quite right and I ended up taking the truck back to them. Bear in mind that the disc brakes put on the truck were not a kit per se so that complicated the process somewhat. Long story short, after some screwing around the truck is now back in my garage and the guys at the shop have been nothing short of supportive and have been patient and understanding and most helpful with getting my truck back on the road. I am already making future preparations to take my truck back to them to have a new front end put in. I fully trust them and would not want anyone else doing work on my truck. I have been working extensively with Nick. He is very knowledgeable and a great guy overall. I absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality work. Great people and a great business to deal with. My highest praise!

Shop was recommended and overall had good reviews. Minor repairs to my 1972 Camaro completed. Shop was attentive & excellent service; however when I took my 1970 Chevelle, different story. Major work requested and completed- engine rebuild, transmission swap, brakes, dash, suspension & AC upgrades. Good chunk of monies spent only to find overheating, head gasket, and wiring issues. Ended up spending another big chunk at another shop to correct the mistakes- bad M22 trans (wouldn’t stay in 4th), starter installed wrong so ruined it and bell housing, and others.
Would highly recommend shopping around for shops and think this shop is good at minor classic car work, but wouldn’t go back for major work.

What a shop. Sent them my ‘65 Thunderbird off the recommendation of a friend. I had never seen the shop, and was out of state working. They took care of me like I was family. When I came to town to check the place out, they had classics from all eras they were doing work on. They pretty much did anything mechanical there could be done with my car, and when he popped the hood, I was smiling. Their presentation is great. They haven’t skipped a beat. Take my recommendation and let them take care of your classic.

I brought my '48 Chevy to Classic Motorsports in November '23 for two "major " items, and what I would call maitenance or minor repairs. The "major " items were a 12 volt conversion and disc brakes on the front. The minor items were things like: install a radio and speakers (provided), electric wipers, fix horn assembly, check a leak in my gas tank, repair and add new faces to my speedometer and instruments, fix my hood latch and address several window isues. I had a budget and had agreed to an estimate. After 4 months, I was told they had found some safety issues that they wanted to address. I agreed but was concerned with my budget. After telling them to go ahead, and that was the limit of my funds, they told me they only could do the 12 volt conversion, the disc brakes and the safety issues. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. I told them to "button up" the car and I would pick it up. Now, after this long dissertation, the bottom line is, after 4 months, this is all they could do? I received many parts they had ordered and got 2 things done I asked for and still came in under budget by 20% They said they had to wait for parts, but some of the things could have been done because the parts were supplied, and some items didin't need parts. Plus, why didn't they install the parts they gave me? I still had about $1500 left on my budget. I'm sorry this is so long, but I wanted to be as accurate and fair as possible They seem to be very inefficient and sloppy in my opinion. And by the way, my brake lights didin't work and some of my gauges don't work.

Very friendly but most importantly- an honest AND knowledgeable staff. It is evident that they pay close attention to detail and care for the vehicles as if they were their own vs a job to do. Classic Motorsports truly exceeded all expectations. I would highly recommend!

Don't buy the BS. Ask about their staff turnover and their "difficult" customers. Pay close attention to their "friendliness" and decide for yourself if it's genuine or a front.

It's the best shop around for classic cars. Since they are specialized in classic cars, they are better mechanics for older cars. The owners are fair, trustworthy, and hilarious. They are really close with the group of employees they have, and seeing their relationship shows that Classic Motorsports is an amazing business. They are quick and precise. If you need your classic car worked on, this is the place to go.

Amazing work and amazing staff. The owners, John & Kay treat you like family, and thoroughly explain pricing and the work that needs to be done to your vehicle. If you have an antique, classic, or vintage car, Classic Motorsports is the best place to go.
