I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service at the Atlantic Union Bank, Waynesboro branch. Recently, I encountered an issue that required the attention of the branch manager. To my dismay, rather than addressing my concerns directly, the manager chose to communicate through the teller, refusing to engage with me in person.
This experience starkly contrasts with the exemplary service I receive at my local credit union, where members are treated with respect and genuine care. At Atlantic Union Bank, I felt disregarded and undervalued, akin to the impersonal and inefficient service often associated with large banking institutions. However, this small bank lacks the reach and convenience that might justify such an attitude.
Given this experience, I hope never to have to deal with this bank again. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity and consideration, and unfortunately, that is not what I found at Atlantic Union Bank.

Pathetic excuse for a banking institution. When cashing a check written on that bank they expect the payee to pay a $10 service charge. Be smart people. Do not bank there. Find a credit union where you are treated like a member not an ATM!

My favorite bank!
I've been with them since they were Planters Bank and Trust so very long ago, with my personal account and 2 business accounts. The folks at the Lucy Lane, Waynesboro branch are the knowledgeable, helpful and easy to work with for basic personal and business banking.

Been with them ever since they started out in this area located in Martin's Grocery Stores. I was an employee, so I was able to open up account w NO fees. Very Satisfied Overall. Very Disappointing when they closed Stuart'sDraft. Excellent Service ALL.

Atlantic Union Bank has been my bank for many years. Although I was sorry to see the Stuarts Draft branch close, it is only 7 miles to the Waynesboro branch. The branch tellers are very kind and knowledgeable both in person and by phone.

The door that is your physical address to the location should NOT be locked to traffic coming in but people going out.

Thank you so much Maiya for your public concern and then lack of response. We have since put in a complaint with the banking commission that you accepted money and opened an account with a valid Power of Attorney and then refuse to release funds or provide access to the funding. Atlantic Union Bank accepted money, a valid power of attorney and refuses to honor the POA to allow us to pay the bills of a disabled person. Nice job in confirming a true bait and switch!

Closing branches left and right. Only way to access your money without a fee on top of the atm fee is at a remaining branch. Atlantic union Bank verifies that they were massively closing branches at beginning of pandemic.
