New to the area, I happened into "Under the Roof" when in Waynesboro and ended up purchasing a side table. I had the good fortune to be serviced by designer Jonathan Gatewood, whose engaging manner and expertise were very welcoming. I visited a few additional times to consult with Jonathan on suggestions for a room that wasn't coming together. He was very professional and helpful, and I purchased two additional pieces. Jonathan was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He gave us great advice on pillows and made sure our sofa arrived home a couple of hours after the purchase. The store is full of beautiful quality furniture -- definitely worth a visit when you're in Waynesboro.

We had a 5 star experience working with Kat at Under the Roof; one of the few furniture stores with truly contemporary, fresh, stylish furniture. Kat was pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable about the products and styles. She gave us all the information we needed and when we returned to make our purchase, handled all the particulars of the sale with thoughtfulness and care.

Just had my first visit at Under The Roof. They have a beautiful showroom. Devin Wilson gave me a tour and was very knowledgeable about the pieces, from fabric choices to different finishes. Thank you Devin. It is worth the visit!

I wandered into "Under the Roof" after having lunch across the street. I had been looking for a sofa and chair for a while but hadn't found anything that really attracted me. As my sister and I started looking around the store, more and more things caught our eye. About that time, Kat Lotts came across the store to help us. She was wonderful! She worked with us for a couple of hours, suggesting different styles of sofa which were available, fabrics that would work and we found her to be very knowledgeable about the styles, fabrics, etc. She was listening to what I wanted and liked. She was a blessing! We finally settled on exactly what I was looking for without any pressure from Kat but her wonderful assistance!I walked away from "Under the Roof" with a sense of having been treated very fairly by Kat and when the time comes to purchase another piece of furniture, "Under the Roof" and Kat Lotts will be who I will contact.Marge McMullenVery satisfied customer!

I love the Luonto Elfin sofa sleeper I bought at UTR. Very comfortable as both sofa and bed. Loveseat size is great for small spaces yet has a full-size bed. I also bought the Luonto Viola sofa -- a stylish midcentury design that is comfortable but not oversized. Jonathan has given me excellent interior design help with paint/fabric options I have brought in and encouragement on my window treatment projects.
