My wife and I have been using Kroger Pharmacy on Arch Ave in Waynesboro, VA for many years. The pharmacists and pharmacy technicians have consistently been very courteous and extremely patient and knowledgeable when addressing questions from my wife (which can be somewhat lengthy at times). Their auto refill on prescriptions is also outstanding, alleviating the need for us to reach out to our doctor on our standard medications. They are the ones that truly hold the substance of the State Farm slogan “Like a Good Neighbor, Kroger Pharmacy is There.”

The pharmacy is a place that, unfortunately, I have to visit often. However, the pharmacists and technicians at Kroger on Arch Avenue in Waynesboro are extremely caring, knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. Oftentimes, like other health care facilities, the people who are served at pharmacies may not feel their best. It definitely helps to be be greeted with a smile and treated with respect. Thanks to all of the staff at this pharmacy for all you do to brighten my days & lighten the load!

I visited in a pinch a couple of months ago when the doctor sent my fiances prescription here by mistake. The employees here are honest, sophisticated, and extremely helpful. Communication, knowledge, and experience made the transaction process easy. I applaud your patience and understanding ?Cheers to you all on a job well done.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! I have never in my life heard of a Kroger pharmacist be so blatantly rude to a customer as he did to my. My husband has a rare bone disease that requires him to take strong pain medicines. He also is in a unique situation as he lives here in Virginia, part of the time, and part of the time in Georgia which can sometimes make it difficult to fill his prescriptions. He usually goes to the Kroger in Staunton, but this time they were out of the medicine, so he called the one in Waynesboro to see if they would fill it. To make a long story short, the pharmacist was extremly rude to him over the phone twice. Once when we called the first time, and again a second time when the pharmacist called him back. My husband knows exactly why a lot of pharmacists are hesitant to fill controlled substances. He knows all about dealing with these kinds of prescriptions, because he's had to take them just about all of his life. The pharmacist flat out refused to fill his prescription because "he didn't know him, and that he wasn't local". My husband has been going to Kroger in Staunton, and in Georgia for years. We are very loyal customers. But this man would not budge. You can't tell us something we already know about opiods. My husband can't help that he was born with a debilitating disease. He can't help that people, doctors and patients, have abused this drug, and over prescibed it. Should my husband be treated like a "junkie" because of this? No, of course he shouldn't, but the pharmacist at the Waynesboro pharmacy sure did. Also, the pharmacist hung up on my husband while he was talking mid sentence.I guess the pharmacist doesn't realize that if my husband doesn't get his medicine filled, he could end up in the E.R. with serious withdrawls. It really p*sses me off to know that this is how people who have a legitamte reason for taking opiods is treated.Very unprofessional, unempathetic, and just plain horrible customer service.

I have used many pharmacies in my life and none have come off as incompetent as this one. I understand pharmacies are busy these days. But wow. There was 0 communication between staff. It seemed like it was everyone's first day.

Kroger on Arch Avenue has been a stable on the east side of the City of Waynesboro for many many years. Recently, it seems they have done subtle changes to the store and layout. There is a great amount of parking along with a small gas and convenience store in the parking lot. I do think they could use more employees on the the floor but there a couple employees that have been here for years and always available if you need help. Anytime, I'm on this side of town, I use this Krogers.

Pickup at this store has become obnoxious. Items are marked as out of stock or aren't substituted when they are available in the store. Coupons can't be taken off the order because 25% of the order can be missing when it's right there in stock in the store. I've been given moldy bread and have found expired products on the shelves. Please don't shop here.
