I got two tattoos from this shop about a month ago. They charged me $300 for two separate tattoos, one was lineart of a cat, and the other was three letters on my leg. If I had known they were going to charge me twice, I would have never gone here, but the shop I originally wanted to go to was closed. Every other shop I have been to will combine the price of two tattoos and avoid charging shop minimum twice. They also charge by size, which is a practice I'm unfamiliar with, and I have 6 other tattoos. To start, they only take cash, and they take all of it upfront. So I had given the guy at the front $300 before I even had ink to my skin. In my experience, you pay a deposit, you get tattooed, and then you pay the rest on the way out. I waited an hour for my artist to sketch my cat. While I was being tattooed, my artist used a very thin lining pen to do the outline, and used the same thin needle to shade in the black parts, so it took a lot longer, my skin was pretty raw, and the shading is scratchy. I have other tattoos with more shading, detail, and color, and this was now my most expensive tattoo. My new fully healed tattoos are splotchy, missing ink in spots, and not even fully shaded. The owner of the shop was also angrily cursing at the front of the shop, which put me on edge. If you go through and look at other critical reviews, the owner responds very negatively and doesn't take any criticism well. I'm just sharing my experience here. At the end of the day, I chose to pay as much as I did, but I don't feel they're worth what I paid, and I did not enjoy the vibes in there. I feel like I got robbed. In total, I was at this shop for about 4 hours for simple work.
Update: My tattoo is fading terribly & I've had it for less than two months.

Bret is AWESOME. He worked me in and gave me a meaningful tattoo that I’ll cherish FOREVER.
Requested style: I requested a phrase in a specific font and Bret was able to oblige in record time! And was entertaining to boot!! I LOVE MY TATTOO!

There were 4 of us getting matching, very sentimental tattoos, 2 of us drove 3 hours just to go to Hessoms Ink. Well worth the drive!!! Malik Rucks is amazing! I can’t begin to explain how awesome he is! Everyone there is great! The guy at the front who checked us in was super cool, friendly and helpful, the owner and other artists were so friendly and welcoming. This really should be the only option for tattoos. You won’t be disappointed!!! 20/10 highly recommend!!!!!!!!!
Requested style: Handwriting of my moms….literally looks like she wrote on our arms. Perfect!!!!

Love the tattoo my husband got. Exactly what he wanted although he went in asking for different font. By the advice of the artist he changed his mind and was grateful he did. He love it and I love it. Plan to get one too!!!

Did an amazing job on a cover-up , done by artist , Hessom. Professional, clean & nice atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone looking for work to be done . Would definitely return for more work to be done .

Very professional, good quality and good pricing. THE BEST tattoo shop in the valley. Definitely recommend going there... call down there and book an appointment. They also take walk ins all day everyday

The work was nice but I didn’t get what I asked for wanted a memorial piece for my mom paid more then what I agreed on because I wanted it done nicely piece doesn’t say mom or have a date or anything like the pic I showed I am devastated at my mom’s memorial piece! My brother had to ask me what is it. 15 mins away from the time we set up and he tells me I have to wait a couple more hours. Completely changed the piece from what I asked for I highly doubt I wud ever come back here. They have no communication. shop was clean and sanitary told me I had to pay cash because you had to spend 600 to use the card machine but because I sent 100 deposit I was not able to use the machine for the remaining 500 balance. I would not recommend.

Was interested in getting a Friday the 13th tattoo here. Went in the other day to check out the flash sheet, about 5 employees at least was in sight of us and not a one even bothered to speak to us. 2 of the employees were at the desk sitting right in front of us and didn't bother to speak. Brett himself was over to the side and didn't even acknowledge us so It made us not feel welcomed and we are going elsewhere for our tattoos. Not that this is a huge deal but in a business if your going to want money from people at least have a little better customer service.
