The sandwiches are really good but they only get the order right about half of the time. I always ask to add onions and hold the tomato and they get one or the other wrong about half the time. Today, they held the tomato but didn't add onion.

What a great store. We were passing through and stayed at the RV park and I popped in the store to "just see what they had". Well, I bought a shirt, a bunch of cheese, some jam, some snacks and gifts. It was such a cute store and I will definitely be back!

Fantastic place. A rather aesthetic location tucked off of exit 91. Great food for an even better price and the kind of caring, lovely staff that you can only find at a local business. Loved it!

Shell Oil would not be proud of the Deli Service at Goose Creek Market exit 91 I-64 today. After placing an order for $11 sandwich & soft drink a very pleasant clerk took my name, declined my offer to pay and suggested I shop around. I did until my name was called by a different employee. #2 employee handed me my sack and I asked about the soft drink and offered to pay again. #2 refused to take payment or retrieve the soft drink. She proceeded to wait on 2 other customers until I asked how long it would be before I could pay. She Explained she was busy waiting on other customers. I slid the sack across the counter and said she could keep it. At that point she levied a few expletives as I walked out the door. Very clean and attractive store. Someone put some real thought into differentiating Goose Creek Deli from the typical brands found along I-64 in Virginia. I'm a business owner. Customer service is critical. Abusive clerks are intolerable and can shatter your branding efforts in a second. Shell Oil you deserve better and so do you. Beauty is only skin deep at Goose Creek Deli. Drive on until you find a Subway.

Goose Creek is located right off the interstate in Fisherville. I've never stopped until today and I'm glad I did. There are several deli sandwiches made-to-order that can be turned into salads. Also lots of local baked goodies available to include banana bread, brownies, strudels, hand held pies. Typical gas station fare is available as well... chips, coffee, beverages. And they have a cooler filled with cold sides. So basically anything you need along a road trip. My husband ordered #15: The Duke, sub chipotle mayo. I ordered #13: an Italian sub, but subbed a salad. We got a side of chips, and real beef jerky behind the counter. Ordered an apple strudel for dessert. I just want to say- all delicious. The Boars Head meat and cheese makes a world of difference on a sandwich or salad. The salad was not skimped on- tons of romaine lettuce as the base. Really loved the beef jerky and homemade strudel too. This is such a great stop if you're traveling through and don't want to eat at a sit down restaurant, and be met with kind and great people. But, they did have sheltered tables outside available if you want to stretch your legs and eat.
