I can't say enough good things about Discount Tire and this passion in particular. We bought Michelin tires for our Mercedes Sprinter RV from Discount Auto and have them rotated every 5,000 miles. Rotating is not an easy job because the tires must be dismounted and remounted every time. We showed up late on a Saturday afternoon, later than we should have, but manager Charles Cassell and his team were able to get the job done in a very timely manner. These guys are great!

&tldr; 5 stars for the techs who actually did the work, but -1 star for the lack of communication between the service advisor and the techs.
We’ve been traveling cross country in our Winnebago-converted RAM Promaster 3500 camper van and were badly in need of a tire rotation, so made an appointment and brought our van in. The service advisor was very friendly during check-in, and I made sure to tell him that 1) there’s all sorts of very expensive plumbing and electrical added under the van, and that the “safe jack points” have been spray painted fluorescent pink, and 2) the wheel bolts strip easily so have to be started by hand before power tools are used to tighten them.
I watched as the van was pulled in techs started working on the van 10 minutes later, and got alarmed when I saw floor jacks being inserted under the van in all the wrong spots. I was able to talk to one of the techs before they tried raising the rear (with one poised in a location known to crack sewer drain pipes), and it was clear that the service advisor hadn’t relayed my instructions through. The tech was very polite, friendly, understanding, and cooperative though; he asked me to point out the jack points and was happy to use them. The techs were efficient and clearly knew what they were doing; great guys all around.
I’m definitely less thrilled with the service advisor who checked us in, though.
Bottom line: great place to get work done, but if your vehicle has “special needs”, watch the work being done and talk to the techs directly if necessary.

4 lug nuts on two different tires were HAND TIGHT after my tire rotation this past weekend. Thank god my father in law noticed and tightened them for me. My husband called to let them know, and instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, the manager got defensive with him saying they have a procedure to ensure that never happens. Told us that they wouldn’t have been in business as long as they have if they were just leaving people’s tires loose. All we were looking for was some accountability, instead, we got dismissed. We’re all human, everyone makes mistakes, but this was NOT handled very well on their end.

Sometimes they good and sometimes they not I got screwed this time. I used to tell them no I don’t need wipers so I went ahead and got new wipers, but these are not new and my drivers have help count. It was loose. Take your time and check things it’s a good place, but y’all need to check things And don’t screw people.

We had a flat tire heading down the mountain towards Waynesboro. After changing to the spare, we drove into Waynesboro and found Discount Tire. They immediately took our flat tire in for assessment. After they determined it to be not repairable, they found a very close match. We have large tires for our Expedition and they did a good job, giving us 2 different options. They mounted it, removed the spare, installed the new tire, checked that the sensor was working, and even put the spare back into place under our vehicle. Everyone was friendly, thorough, and professional. You can't go wrong with these folks. Great job!!!

Love Discount tires in Waynesboro,Virginia. I bought a new Cooper tire for my Mazda CX-3, had to take my care in for service and while it was there they did a few test drives and somehow ended up getting a nail in my new tire. They plugged it but I took it to Discount tire to have it checked pre Florida trip. They suggested since I bought full coverage, just let them put a new tire on . So they did. Thanks Discount Tires..❤️??

This place is busy & I had paid for a rear wiper blade along with other things but noticed (a week later) that the old one was still on my jeep. I called & Charles (GM) went out of his way to explain what happened & to make it right. He appreciates his customers & it shows. I’m so glad I called & went back. I’ll be telling everyone to go there.

I have been calling them since this morning one minute you talk to a representative leave you on hold they never come back and I have not been able to get in touch with no one every time you call now the phone just hangs up
