Coming home from a trip out of town, I had a craving for fried chicken. Because Pran World was the closest place serving more than just chicken tenders, I decided to give them a try. It didn’t pass my standalone taste test (sampled the coating and the chicken separately--coating was too salty and the chicken was bland). But together, they balanced each other perfectly for me and it was even better cold today. Plus, I loved the yummy mac&cheese side I added (had to force myself to save half for hubby). While Pran World chicken won't replace my current favorites, it's my new choice for local fried chicken.

I was told the food was awesome. But I must have tried the wrong item. I had the Philly cheese steak. Which wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. BUT, I asked the woman if I could sit and eat, and she politely said yes and I sat at a table inside. THAT was awesome.However, somehow there is a little bit of everything in this store! But one thing you'll find here is kindness and that small-town-feeling. Next time, I'll try the fried chicken!
