Dining at The Little Inn at Washington was an extraordinary experience, one that was so remarkable, I almost struggled to put it into words. Even though the menu may have changed since our visit in Nov 2020, I feel compelled to share the wonderful memories from our meal. This visit, especially compared to other Michelin-starred experiences at places like Nakazawa, Jean-Georges, and Ai Fiori, was truly special. The dish that has etched itself in my memory was the appetizer, a Foie Gras soup. The name of the dish escapes me now, but the flavor was unforgettable. It elevated our entire dining experience, setting an incredibly high standard right from the start.Another standout was the can of tuna. Initially, its simple appearance in such a refined setting was surprising, but the taste was a revelation. It went beyond any preconceived notions, proving that sometimes, the simplest things can be the most extraordinary. This dish, along with the Foie Gras soup, marked high points in a meal where each course was exceptional in its own right. The meal concluded with a dessert featuring a delightful blend of dark chocolate and orange peels. It was the perfect end to our culinary journey, with a wonderful balance of rich and zesty flavors. The Little Inn at Washington not only met but exceeded our expectations, making it a standout experience among many notable dining adventures.

What a stunning evening at the Inn capturing the intimate wedding of Ashleigh & Andrew. As a wedding photographer with my company Benson Park Photography, I work with so many different venues and I just have to share how thankful I am to have been able to shoot at the Inn this weekend. Every little detail of this property has been designed perfectly. The Inn staff were amazing. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to their reception, everything ran like clockwork. Lisa, their director of events and her team were incredible to work with. Having worked at the inn in 2010, and now being back in the area working in this creative capacity, I am just so impressed with the growth and design the Inn has continued to display year after year. Enjoy a look at some of their photos showcasing the property.Walkability: The town is great and walkable. Patty-Os is a great medium priced establishment compared to the Inn. The grounds of the property will keep you in awe. Tons of local hikes and trails nearby that you would need transportation to get to.

Yes this is a bit of a trek from DC. The experience is incredible though and the food and service are both always impeccable. It's worth going and over 20 years I've been 5 times.

Most expensive meal I’ve ever had, but also one of the most delicious. Perfect for a special occasion. The wine pairing was nice, but not my favorite. Colby, the person serving the wine, was also one of my favorite parts about the whole evening though, so there’s also that! I wish I had taken photos.

Literally can’t go wrong here. Only 3 star Michelin around and honestly the value is there compared to places in DC that either have no star or just one.

What can I say that has not already been said? The Inn at Little Washington is impeccable. Nothing more needs to be said.

I probably won’t add much value from other reviewers, but this is, really, the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The food, service, and attention to detail are something I had never experienced before. Each course is perfectly timed and all the staff make you feel they are there for you alone. As the perfect finale, the cheese presentation by the gracious Maitre du Fromage left us with a smile. Definitely worth every penny (particularly considering prices you pay in DC for 1/2 star Michelin restaurants that cannot compare).

This review is for the inn, not the restaurant. My wife and I had an amazing long weekend at the Inn at Little Washington. It has a magical feel that's difficult to articulate. It's almost like being on a movie set. The views are incredible, the people kind, and the food delicious. We particularly loved the cottage we stayed in. It was incredibly cozy yet spacious. I can safely say it's one of the best, if not the best, five-star inn I've been to. People should know ahead of time that little washington is tiny. As a result, the inn itself is a place to go and relax, enjoy nature, read, drink, and eat great food. It's not a bustling area with all sorts of activities throughout the day. To me, that's what makes it such a great escape. And there are small towns and wineries near by for those who wish to leave the inn and explore. But the inn is so incredible, you'll probably just want to stay!
