I received an e-mail that Mapco was closing this Opal VA location. My last receipt showed up at my bank as a Shell station. Need to use your points soon before they close. They may be open in other states but the e-mail said all VA stores were closing.

Reason for the 1 star. Made several attempts to reach out to a manager after a very disrespectful issue of store clerk female, mis treatment. Advised him I would be contacting someone on the incident told me he didnt care!!!! Really after I paid $59. Apparently owners dont care either.

On the morning of Wednesday July 13th at approximately 2:55 AM I was getting fuel and decided to check my oil taking the dipstick out and oil on my fingers I'm looking for paper towels in the dispenser and it's still empty since the last few weeks? I went into the store and that's where I had my 1st experience with a so called "Karen" the store clerk I asked where are paper towels? I need a paper towel to check my oil the clerk said "don't yell at me" I said I am not yelling at you my voice is somewhat loud because I have a hearing difficulty and it makes my voice a little bit louder, and she handed me paper towels and told me to "get out of her store" I'm 63 years old and never been kicked out of anywhere? The 2 stars are for management for not supplying paper towels at the dispenser that is brand new since the remodel, I wouldn't have even had to go into the store to deal with this grumpy ol troll if the thing had towels....

So I stop in to get fuel last month, and I give my business credit card and ID to the cashier Julie to hold since I was going to fill up. I go back to the pump fill up and come back inside to finalize the transaction and the card wouldn't go through, my card was a temporary card and it had expired the day before. I explained that I would have to try to get my finances somehow differently to pay and it might take a while. Julie said no problem and was very helpful and patient with me as I had to use 3 different cards for a total of 4 transactions to pay for my fuel but we eventually got it done..... Thanks so much Julie for everything, you and your staff are the best!!

always something wrong at this locationWater not working no fountain drinks no coffee for weeks. Subway always has something wrong also but how they open with no water ? Very bad location hars to get back on the road
