All the stylists are amazing and each rock their own specialties from perms, balayage, lashes and don’t even get me started on the head massages during your shampoo. I have been following Rick for decades, including now at Salon Lou in Warrenton, VA! I have regrettably trusted my hair just a few times in thirty years to someone else’s hands, and always returned to Rick despite the hour drive!
I always love the cut and color! I appreciate his genuine character and honest recommendations! I can trust Rick will style my hair in a way that compliments me and not try some trend that will be impossible to achieve on my own.
Salon Lou is one of my favorite Salons where he’s worked! It’s a great location, just outside charming old town Warrenton. I always make a day of it when I come to Salon Lou in Warrenton! It’s a classy shabby chic establishment, always warm and welcoming!

I saw Maddie for the first time today and I’m so happy I did! She did a phenomenal job on my hair! I was so scared trying somewhere new but Salon Lou is amazing. The staff is so friendly and I couldn’t be happier with my hair. I’m definitely seeing Maddie from now on! Highly recommend!!!

This salon is very nice, and clean. I didn't have a great first experience, so what I recommend to 1st time customers is to reiterate to your stylist many, many times, exactly how much hair you want cut off. I will not be returning since I did not get anything done to my hair that I'd asked for paid for and tipped well for. I know it's just hair to some, but the shock of such a loss has been a bummer.
July 22 Sophie I asked several times only take 4-5 inches of hair and he took 9 inches off. No layers and now it's growing back as a straight edge which is not what tight curls should ever have. Don't let someone ever sabotage your beautiful hair over nonsense or personal feelings. If you have curly hair RUN FOR YOUR LIFE IF Rick is your stylist.

My wife is very unhappy! Wifes hair was down to her Butt! Was asked to cut off dead ends and maybe take an inch off… when it was all finished her hair is now in the middle of her back! Thats 13 inches!!! Shes pissed!
Never will be back! Apparently “ Lou” can’t differentiate between 1-2 inches and 13!
