An exceptional independent bookstore with extensive selection! I stopped in during a business trip to the Warrenton area and the staff recommended an excellent late summer "beach read". I wish I lived nearby so I could join one of their book clubs. Do yourself a favor and patronize this local gem!
The Open Book is a full-service bookstore nestled in Old Town Warrenton, Virginia. We seek to provide our community access to the written word through an inspiring space and community-minded events. Winner of Fauquier Time's Spirit of Fauquier award, Best Gift Store, Best After School Kids Activity, Best Place to Bring Out-of-Town Guests 2023. We offer monthly Open Mic nights with our friends from Modal Music, story time every Friday, multiple book clubs in a variety of genres, author events, and unique special events. We sell mostly new books with a small used book section. Please call first if interested in donating books.
