For some reason, they’ve changed the way they find and stock a lot of their furniture (buying through auction rather than just restoring donations). This has caused a significant increase in prices that makes this location no longer an affordable option for a lot of families. I think the Manassas location retains the old business model, if that’s helpful for anyone.

I turned here looking for necessity furniture after my house burned down and I lost everything I owned, thinking it’s Habitat for Humanity after all. No answer at headquarters from any of the people supposedly in charge -for weeks- and no return phone call after many messages left. The manager at the store did help (?) by giving us a 40% discount on the 20% discounted furniture, all other discounts remained the same. Since the prices are in line with the antique store up the street we got better deals there and they even donated some stuff. Also, the discount was relayed to me through a woman who referred to us losing our home and all our belongings as my “little problem”. ?
So my question is: how exactly is this a “charity” to those in need? Seems more like a goodwill retail for profit set up with nothing, not even empathy, for people in crisis.

Great variety of house hold items from furniture to small appliances and everything else . You can really find good quality items for really good prices if you know what you need . As the saying goes , one man's trash can be another man's treasure . Matthew

The past three times I've tried to come here, they are closed two hours before posted close time. I'm not sure if regular hours have changed or if I've just been unlucky the past few times, but some clarity either on social media or Google times would be helpful so we stop wasting the drive.

Use to love going into this thrift store. I have not been in a while. Went on the other day. It's no longer a thrift shop. Their prices are higher than furniture that you would find at TJ Maxx. Not sure who is pricing these items but they are so overpriced. Won't go back.

They have raised their prices it's hard to find good deals. I tried to donate some stuff this weekend and they "didn't have room". Maybe if their prices were more reasonable their store wouldn't be so full. ?
