Don't let the 3 stars necessarily detract from your decision. We went earlie in the day on a Saturday. There wasn't much going on at that time, I'm guessing the rides and activities tend to start a little later in the day. The animal area was fun to walk through and also seeing the cow judging was interesting. The inside hall with awards was worth a quick walkthrough. There are the standard fair food carts, though I was a bit surprised that the prices seemed a little high for a fair of this size. There did seem to be a number of shows/events running through the day, but there weren't any happening for the few hours we were there.

It was fun! Heat was crazy but they had an air-conditioned space where you could rest and take a load off.The shows were cute and funny. The vendors were very polite.I'd recommend going early to get good parking, but the rides didn't start intul well into the afternoon. So it's a long stretch in the heat waiting for the rides, etc.This year, there was no tractor or truck pulls, but they had an awesome rodeo.All in all definitely would recommend to bring the kids and family out.

Definitely expected moreI come from a small town and I am pretty sure it's county fair is much bigger and better.Kids had fun watching the rodeo

The fair opened at 11:00am and when we arrived at 11:30am that there were dozens of families leaving which was are first clue. Parking was lousy, especially for handicapped individuals, no workers at the few games during our brief time, and to many commercial kioshes trying to get $$$ out of everyone. Overall, a disappointing event for all patrons and children.

Really good price - and free breakfast! Fun petting zoo and corn kernel pit for the kids. Wish we could have stayed for the rodeo. The shows were pretty great. Rode a mechanical bull for 43 seconds and was sore the next day. Suddenly motivated to exercise more. Thanks, fair!

It the Fauquier County Fair, not sure how much more you can say. We had a great time watching the Rodeo and we saw some really nice 1st place carrots and some nice art. Saw a high dive jump into an airbag and had some Ribbon Fries and some Strawberry Lemonade. Over it was a great evening.
