“It is one of the nicest American Legion's that we have visited. The bar stools where so comfortable...they made you want to stay all day. Lol. Staff was great and so was the food.”

“Its fun and there is alot of little shops an its quit compared to the city the town is little an old and everyone knows everyone an its a good place to live cause everything is near you but yet it feels like you in the country since its old and the architecture is old too but the houses are alot of money and there fany inside its like a rural look on the outside and urban-ish on the inside but not too modern its like fancy for a old era”

“It was fun! Heat was crazy but they had an air-conditioned space where you could rest and take a load off.The shows were cute and funny. The vendors were very polite.I'd recommend going early to get good parking, but the rides didn't start intul well into the afternoon. So it's a long stretch in the heat waiting for the rides, etc. This year, there was no tractor or truck pulls, but they had an awesome rodeo. All in all definitely would recommend to bring the kids and family out.”

“A fun place to browse, best if you know what you're looking for because stock moves quickly and you've got to snap things up. I got a china cabinet for a really great price that I dressed up and now enjoy using as a pantry. Even if there's nothing there that you need, there are often neat artifacts of domestic industry like kitchen sets, clothing presses, old mixers and the like.Only problem is the rise of restore+flippers making nice quality budget items more scarce.”

“This place is awesome! So many cool things! If you want to have a good time looking at the best selection of knickknacks around, make an outing of the Salvation Army!I'll start with the complaints (which are very few in comparison to the compliments).First, they have only a small number of casette tapes, and among those are mostly classical music, but I did find Christmas suites and 80s rock.Second, some of the items are in very poor condition, from frayed cords on appliances to action figures (or what used to be) that are only a torso and a single leg.Okay, that's all for complaints. Now...the fun part! There is such a large selection of items here (as I stated before), for practically anyone looking to take up some room or wall space. I was especially awestruck by the small alarm clocks, which were hidden all over the shop, because each one was stylized differently and just put together perfectly.Kids definitely like this place, but I would say their toys are geared primarily toward Pre-K through 2nd grade. There are a lot of shelf items that are very intriguing; I almost picked up every one!Lots of special dishes, cups, and plates with a variety of designs. The few that I can recall were cottages, mountain scenery, cultural icons, and traditional Japanese tea sets.Definitely a place to return to again and again!”
