Requires masks for customers even today, despite "science". Militant mask-wearing required signs and confirmed upon entry and questioning. Bad feels, big angry owner from my experience. Don't waste money here at Blalock Cycles in Warrenton, Virginia.

let me start off by stating that I went to Blalock Cycle today to buy my kids a couple of go karts. I've never been to this shop as it's about 50 miles from my house I buy from Colmans which is closer Unfortunately they don't sell the Polaris go kart so I went to this place What a Mistake. I walk in with my kids 4 and 7 we start checking out the karts I was approached by someone asking if I needed anything I stated what I was doing and i was trying to figure what models would be the best fit for each of the kids. we decided on the torpedo $1699 and the mudhead 208 $2499 while we were working on which color to get my 4 year old was playing in the go kart she was get she was excited and making motor noises when all of a sudden this lady that worked there WENT OFF about the sound my child was making and basically told use to shut up with the noise. I couldn't believe the why she acted at her age 65+ years old. I stated I was here to buying multiple vehicle and that her attitude just jeopardize that sale to which she stated oh well have a good one leave. I left loaded kids in truck. i went back in to ask for owner- manager anyone to which a gentleman was presented as the owner I stated what was happening and he had literally nothing to say not even a apology for my experience. I stated I couldn't believe he was lettingll 5000 sal

If you are looking to buy an ATV, go to Winchester or Manassas. I tried calling Blalock and sent two requests indicating that I wanted to purchase an ATV. They never responded to me, so I reached out to Timbrook in Winchester. Timbrook called me the same day and had my ATV in stock. I'm picking it up tomorrow.

Lousy customer service. Called their phone several times during business hours and was unable to reach anybody. Was recommended this store from a trusted mechanic friend but Im going to have to start second guessing his judgement after this one. Tried to go to the store itself since I was unable to make contact by phone but wasn't even able to step into the store lobby without being yelled about not having a mask on. I get that there may be some inane CDC guidance (not law) which dictates that everyone wear a mask despite actual scientific evidence, but a store can choose whether to be a dick or not in how they follow guidelines while still showing the customer they are valued. Blalock chooses to go the full dick route which concerns me, as I am unable to safely wear a mask over my face and would rather go to a maskless mechanic who does an outstanding job on my bike than a mechanic who has lousy customer service and is more concerned about people wearing masks than they are in actually being helpful. There are plenty of other cycle mechanics to choose from in the area, I guess Blalock has shown me that I would be wise to take my money somewhere else.

Bought a small motorbike and hammer head cart new from this location, everyone was friendly and helpful. Needless to say as my children grow older and bigger cycles are needed. I will return. I will ask the out the door price, which is not reflected on the price tag on the items. Both items purchased were substantially more after the docking and prep fee. But I imagine that is part for coarse

I still like to go here but Blalock has gotten very expensive on their labor rates ($99 an hour) for specific services. While the hourly rate is par for the course, some services cost a fortune. They charge upwards of $250 in labor charges just to change out front and rear motorcycle tires unless you take the tires off the bike and bring them in. It is 1.5 hours labor for the rear tire and 1 hour for the front tire if you do not take off the wheels and bring them in (which then is a fair price of $35 per tire). Management needs to evaluate and address some of the labor rates. A quick call to other dealerships in the area revealed charges for this service ranging (tires on the motorcycle) from $140-$160. Paying an extra $100 over the area rate is just too much.

Blackish cycles is a very low volume Honda motorcycle and ATV dealership. It's in a rural town, so ATV and dirt bikes are their primary business. It's a nice little dealership and has a pretty good service department. Prices are what you'd expect from any dealership, so they tend to be a bit higher than an independent shop. Overall, I would recommend them if you own a Honda motorcycle. They will only do basic work if you own another brand.

Stopped doing business with them in the mid-90's when they failed to perform warranty work.
