Walgreens Pharmacy consistently provides top-notch service! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help with any questions or concerns. Their efficient service ensures prescriptions are filled promptly, often ahead of schedule.
The pharmacy’s layout is convenient and organized, making it easy to find over-the-counter medications and health products. The pharmacists take the time to explain medications clearly, ensuring you understand dosage and potential side effects.
What really stands out is their commitment to customer care. Whether it's a routine prescription refill or a more complex issue, they handle it with professionalism and genuine concern for your well-being. The convenience of their app for managing prescriptions and the option for home delivery is a fantastic bonus.
Overall, Walgreens Pharmacy offers a reliable, friendly, and efficient service that you can always count on. You have to be patience since sometimes they are short staffed!

The most incompetent pharmacy in the east coast! DO NOT GO THERE. Waste of patience, gas and time every single time.

If I could give them a zero I would. They constantly say a prescription is ready and it's not. I can't tell you how much gas I wasted and time on the phone to double-check that the prescription is ready only to find out it's not .They are rude and called me a liar.

This pharmacy is a joke second time for the same prescription I was told it was ready. Once friday I get here after working 13 hours in this heat the first time they didn't even have the medicine they had to order it would be here Monday. Monday rolls around a gentleman calls me at 11:24 am to tell me the prescription is ready I get here after working 12 hours wait in the longest line I've ever seen for them to tell me my medicine isn't ready although I had a man call me at 11:24 am that it was ready

My dr submits my scripts electronically 3 months (each for 30 days) at A time.So the pharmacist has plenty of time to order the meds if out of stock & ensure the scripts are filled & ready on the actual fill date. I take some controlled substances for a severe condition so taking them on a strict schedule is important. Not a single prescription was not ready when I called 2-3 days ahead of time. Which is something I should not have to do. That Walgreens job! One medication I went with pot for SIX DAYS and we tried 11 Walgreen stores s!! RIDICULOUS!
Why’d you buy Rite Aid? All Walgreen has dove is completely screw up both Rite Aid which a location may be open one day and closed the next day. YOU NEED TO DOUBLE UP ON YOUR PHARMACIST AS WELL AS YOIR PHARMACY TECHNICIANS. ALL PHARMACY AREA’s SHOULD BE OPEN AS THE SAME HOURS AS THE STORES. ARE AS WELL AS OPENING ALL PHARMACY LOCATIONS ON WEEKENDS - ITS COMPLETELY UNFAIR TO THE EMPLOYEES & customers to have some pharmacies closed 2 days straight plus close at 7 on every night. SHAME ON WALGREENS. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT ANYONE WOULD CHOOSE TO WORK FOR SUCH A COMPANY. IF THIS IS HOW LITTKE THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR Cus, I can only lay imagine how you treat your employees!!!

I have never written a negative review before but this was such a mess. I placed a photo order online to print two documents for pickup but when I got there, I was instead given 6 copies of my order details (which said on them to not include in order), one of the documents printed twice, then only 2/11 pages of the second document and not stabled even though I paid for them to be stapled. I then waited 30 minutes for them to fix the order (still not correct but I did not want to wait another 30 minutes). It’s unfortunate because the workers were very nice but I hope that they can either fix their equipment or better train their workers.

Our prescriptions were transferred here after Rite Aid closed, so we understood that they had just absorbed a lot of additional prescriptions, they would be overwhelmed for a while, & that it would take some time for them to catch up.
We called to request refills but I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes each time, & hung up on multiple times.
We both take medication that could potentially cause serious health problems, including loss of life, if we miss a dose, so we decided to visit in person instead.
We started this process 10 days before our medications were due, & we were very patient & understanding, & told them that we understood, thanked them for their time & assistance, & requested our medications a week before they were due so we wouldn’t have to miss any doses, & so that all of our medications would be filled & ready on the same day.
My medications are now 3 days overdue & we have been in there 6 separate & different times (SIX!!!!!!) to pick up my medication despite receiving text notifications that they were ready, & the following picture is what the line looked like every single time we were forced to come in. We waited over an hour with more than 10-12 people in front of us in the line every time. This is beyond ridiculous. Many wasted hours of our life that we’ll never get back.
But what has us the most frustrated and upset is that they outright LIED TO OUR FACE that they “couldn’t fill them until after they were due and the prescription was active”. We’ve never had a problem with that before, our previous pharmacy used to do it, & I used to be a Nurse (before my illness), so I know for a fact that it was an outright lie.
Furthermore, my Husband’s medication is due in two days and he asked what he needs to do to make sure that his will be ready. To further prove the fact that what she just said was, in fact, A LIE, the Pharmacist told him that she’ll “order it today so that it’ll be there & ready for pick up on Monday”. It’s the very same prescription that she just told him that they couldn’t order in advance for me b/c they “can’t order it until after it’s due and the prescription is “active””.
WE WASTED OVER AN HOUR WAITING IN THIS LINE every single time on each of the SIX DIFFERENT TIMES we came in TRYING TO FILL THE SAME PRESCRIPTION, ONLY TO BE OUTRIGHT LIED TO!!!!!!
I AM DONE WITH THIS PHARMACY!!! I have sent a copy of this review to the Walgreens corporate office, & we will be transferring our medications!!!
We were understanding the first time we tried to have our medication filled after our records were transferred to this Walgreens upon Rite-Aid’s closure. We started out 10 days in advance of our medication running out so we could have it refilled in time.
We *FINALLY* picked it up today, 5 days late. I have now gone 5 days without my medication, which could’ve caused very serious physical injury to my health, & could’ve even been potentially fatal. My sweet Husband has been through h3ll standing in line to get my medication filled, (both in physical and in emotional stress & aggravation). But the most egregious part of the whole process was being lied to straight to our faces (which I was immediately aware was a deliberate lie, as a former Nurse, but they also betrayed their own lie by offering to do what they just told us they legally couldn’t do).
I have emailed Walgreens corporate offices, so we’ll see what happens. Regardless, we’ll be finding a new pharmacy before our next refill is due.
There is just no excuse for this.

I have been waiting over 1 week for a prescription that I need. I received no text notification to update. I was on hold for the pharmacy for over 40 minutes to talk to someone with no empathy. Prescription is still not in. My records were transferred here because the pharmacy where I was closed. This location needs to be reorganized to help the people especially the very sick and seniors to get in and out. It appears that their workload is overwhelming.

Yea they're going to be a problem. They've taken over for the rite aid around the corner & I had to call 6 times this morning to get anyone on the phone. I was asked when did I want to pick up my RX I said today that was before noon & they STILL aren't ready. I suffer from bad migraines & always make sure I have enough meds on hand I'm starting to run low & thought I was getting a jump on it...guess not smh. They also don't carry my birth control luckily I have a 3 month supply but when its time for it to be refilled I'll have to go another Walgreen's smh. I had the same pharmacy since 2001 with the rite aid on Salem Road & despite issues with them I always got my prescriptions on time & I never had the pharmacy hang up on me.
Update: been on hold 40 minutes this morning trying to find out where my prescription is and so far no answer smh. Turns out the prescription wasn't even in stock even though I was told they had it when I called Saturday. It just came on the truck yesterday. Smh. FINALLY got my prescription after standing in line for 30+ minutes I still have to get home change clothes & go to my 2nd job don't even have time to eat smh there were at least 6 people working & it might as well been 1. Its ALL locations none have at least 3 stars all the same complaints pharmacy staff rude long wait times getting hung up on the phone multiple times today a poor man in his 70s at least waited all that time & they didn't have his meds even though he was told to pick them up Monday he was legit using a cart to keep himself up. Staff was clocking out & going on break/going home with 12+ people in line. Where's the customer service? I've worked customer service 20 years so I know how hard it can be & I'm usually a very patient person but today I was pissed because a quick pick up took over 30 minutes & I needed my meds before going to my 2nd job. why they dont have pay ahead option? With how slow they are an already paid line would be smart. I've read multiple reviews about people with serious health issues waiting 2-3 weeks for medication? Being told their meds are in yet theyre not? Like y'all need to hire people that care about their customers. Where's the corporate response to all these terrible reviews?
5/23/24 sat in the drive thru 30 minutes just for them to say our system crashed. If people could pay online & show the pharmacy proof that could be avoided smh

This is a useless pharmacy. People who work here are rude, the lines always wrapped around the building , prescriptions that take forever and ever and EVER. You waste hours of your life playing around on the phone with them. The worst!

I am so disappointed with this Walgreens. I was a customer of Rite Aid on Salem Rd, and they transferred my Rx to the Walgreens on Lynnhaven Pkwy. They are extremely slow, both inside and the drive thru. My RX's take forever to refill, or they don't have it in stock. It's really frustrating when you need your Rx and can't get it, or it takes them days to refill it. Once I went thru the drive thru and the girl had a serious attitude, like I'm getting on her nerves....they getting on my nerves not having my rx's. Hopefully as time goes on, they get it together. If not I'll be switching to Walmart or CVS.

I’ve been to Walgreens 3 times in 2 days. Each time I was told to circle around and restart the drive thru line again and the Rx it would be ready. After having already waited 40 minutes it the drive thru I left and came back many hours later… still not ready. I don’t care if the answer is we aren’t going to get to them for a few hours, or even not today, just stop telling lies. If you must go to Walgreens… find a different one. You will get angry with this one.
