So I’ve been calling the same 800 number to pay my credit card bill BB&T and now I’m told by the nice lady that truest which is a very non-customer friendly bank requires me to call another number she can’t take my payment because they’re not past due this is the craziest thing I’ve ever heard of in my life truest equals no customer service

I am very pleased with the amazing customer service that I’ve been receiving at this branch of Suntrust Bank. I’ve had to go in branch numerous times recently and each time I received friendly knowledgeable service from both Andrew and Toni. I highly recommend this branch of Suntrust for your banking needs.

The ATM is constantly out of service and unable to read the card. It actually occasionally works if you run your card 3-4 times, to the chagrin of the person in the car behind you. The app and the ATM don't read money orders so getting a deposit done is a pain, and I have to do monthly in person.

They don't want your business forget them go elsewhere. I went to deposit two business checks at the Kempsville location to my personal account which I have done numerous times. They told me that I could be charged $12.50 per check for depositing it to my personal account instead of business. Both accounts are in my name only! This is ridiculous. I am going to get penalized for depositing money. I have banked with them for 28 years, why? Plus I have six accounts with them. They aren't great at customer service as proven today. I said this is another reason for me to transfer my accounts and was told okay. The other time I had a teller at the Volvo location bad mouthing my business to me not realizing I was the owner. I was depositing a check at the time, wow what else do they say about your business behind your back?

I was the manager of a store that did business and had merchant services with this unTRUSTworthy bank. After Sun Trust decided to close the business account of the company I worked for, with no notice and no reason, we opened a new account with a different bank. After transfering our merchant services to the new bank and recieving one transaction in the new bank, Sun"TRUST" decided to transfer our merchant services back to their bank without notifying anyone at our small business and not giving us access to the money we earned. After the saga went on for weeks and all I needed was a letter from the bank that we could give to our creditors explaining the situation, the bank refused. This caused the owner of our business to let me go because SunTrust closing the account, then pulling our merchant services back to their bank cost tens of thousands of dollars. Do not trust them with your business accounts or your personal accounts.

I called and spoke with Nicole and asked if they could help me set up my Mac airbook and online banking and they said NO...awesome job Suntrust. I have my corporation and all my private accounts with you. Maybe time to switch.
