I cannot recommend Ursula and Star Money Tax Services more highly. I am a single mom with my own business and somewhat complex taxes. I was so worried about what my outcome would be this year and a business owner friend highly recommended Star Money Tax. Ursula could not have been kinder, more patient and helpful. I feel she really looked for everything that could possibly help me - which is what you look for in a tax accountant. She thought of everything I didn't know about and their price was extremely affordable. Absolutely 5 stars.

UNPROFRESSIONAL!!!! I paid this company, in full, to file my taxes. The made a mistake that ended up costing me money. I contacted the company not even asking for a reimbursement but that they simply amend the state taxes to correct THEIR mistake. Ursula, the new owner of the company, said they would fix their mistake and amend my taxes but i have to pay them again for the amendment. This is lousy business! When your company makes a mistake, you do not charge the customer to fix that mistake. I've never dealt with a business with such little regard for their customers. Now I have to proceed with legal action to get this resolved when Star Money could've easily fixed their mistake. Absolutely ridiculous! No accountability! Would never recommend!

Sadly it seems a google review is the only way to get this company to respond. In regards to your reply obviously if I would’ve known of your companies error prior I would’ve contacted you sooner. I was not aware of your companies error until the department of revenue in North Carolina contacted me to tell me that I never filed taxes in 2016. Regardless who the person that filed my taxes was they were a representative of YOUR company. No information was changed or reported incorrectly. Your company entered my home information as a North Carolina residence yet filed it as a Virginia resident. This is after having to amend my federal taxes because YOUR company didn’t include my spouses income. For a customer to have to pay YOUR company for a mistake YOUR company made is ludicrous. I have contacted the BBB for resolution since no one will call me back only respond to my google reviews. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

I went there filled my taxes, they forgot to ask me about not getting my recovery rebate! I had to go back and file a amended tax return! That was in February and I still haven't received anything. I called the IRS and they have no records of them filing my amendment! I called them they go nasty with me on the phone! I do not recommend them at all!!

This place is ridiculous, Ursula did my taxes and I owed 3,100 to federal. She doesn’t keep up to date with any new tax laws or forms. I had to get my taxes amended by another accountant to get money back I knew something was wrong and she pressured me into filing when I wanted to back out and go somewhere else, before Kerry had passed this place was great but Ursula has ruined this place greatly and Losing credibility across the board with a lack of knowledge of the new tax laws and forms with covid. Do not come here.

I have been using Star Money tax service for 12 years. They first helped amend previous years taxes and from there they have filed my 1099 taxes for me every year. Recently during the pandemic, I needed some tax forms and they were very helpful getting them emailed over to me very quickly. I am sure Kerry would be very pleased to see how well his business is being ran since his passing

Star Money is the best! I’ve been having them do my taxes for over 7 years. I’ve had a name change, moved a lot, and skipped a few years filing my taxes and they always help me out. The entire staff is always great.

I’ve trusted Star Money for over 10 years with taking care of my taxes, and was quite relieved that the business carried on after Mr. O’Connor passed away in 2018. The ladies in this office are true professionals and second to none. They look out for your hard earned money, and are always prompt in replying to a call or email. Thank you Star Money staff for all that you do!

Ursula was so helpful and patient! She helped me better understand filing a 1099 (first year) and worked to make sure I got some kind of tax refund! I would highly recommend Star Money for all your tax needs

My 7th year using Star Money Tax Services! Ms Ursula,Sasha, Aliya, Steve and the rest of the team over the years have always shown a comforting professionalism that reflects in the courteous and welcoming atmosphere. They always go above and beyond to ensure that nothing is left out and all bases are being covered. I highly recommend them to all of my friends and family every tax season. Kerry would be proud of them carrying on his legacy.
