Thanks to Southside Moving and Storage! Our quote was spot on, movers were on time and all went smoothly! A special shout out to Dante and Lionel.....they were absolutely amazing.....on time, prepared for the move, great attitudes, and hard working. They made this move (as far as moving can be...lol!) a very pleasant experience. I had recently lost a member of my family....Dante and Lionel made this move absolutely stress free for me, and I will always be so very grateful! Thank you Dante and Lionel for a great, professional and stress free moving experience.....if I ever move again, I will definitely use Southside Moving and will ask for Dante and Lionel.

I’ve used this company twice and they have the best customer service I’ve seen in 20+ years of military moves. They make the moving experience easy, the folks that schedule the move are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the folks that execute the move are top-notch. Can’t say enough great things about this moving company!

I don't typically write reviews but I had such a great experience with Southside that I wanted to share. From the beginning of the process, Matthew Jenkins went above and beyond to help set everything up. He walked me through every detail in depth and worked to get me the right quote, which was far better than other competitors I compared them with....Moving day was a breeze. Antoine, Calvin and Jordan were awesome! All three guys worked extremely hard to get the move done efficiently and they finished ahead of schedule. I can't recommend these guys enough. Thank you All!

I would absolutely use them again. I used their full suite of services, packing, storage, and moving. Lynette was great to work with and handled my project from start to finish so she was familiar with everything. Her communication was excellent and thorough. Antoine over saw the actual moving and packing and he was there at all points of our move. He was professional and polite and thorough. They did a wonderful job.

Southside moving is the best. This was my second move with them and once again they made this a stress free and easy process for me. Eric, Kevin, and Donte were kind, careful, and quick all at the same time. I couldn’t have asked for an easier move. I will be using Southside for my next move hands down and will highly recommend them to anyone!!

I couldn’t have asked for a better crew of men to help me move! They were exceptional employees. They worked very hard to protect my things and did it in great time. I wish I had their names but I couldn’t find it on my paperwork to add to this review. But you can bet if I ever move again I want to this same crew!The office employees were just as great. Kept me very informed and went out of their way to reach out to me!GREAT JOB SOUTHSIDE!

Dante and Eric were fantastic!!!! Very polite, careful, and pleasant! Hard workers! They made our move less stressful and moved us efficiently and with care of our things! We have used them before, and are more than pleased with how efficient they are! Will definitely be using them again in the future!!!

Southside moving and storage did an excellent job getting my household goods moved from my POD to my Condo in downtown Norfolk. The order process was professional and straightforward. An estimate was provided up front on expected cost and amount of time to do the job. Both were right on point and there were not additional fees and the move went according to plan. The movers showed up on time and used care moving my household goods. They hustle to ensure they meet the quote estimate of time and finish the project as scheduled on time and on budget.
I wish had written down the guys names, but the team leader, Anthony work with his guys to give me the best service. I wish I knew they could also support moving from the DC area to Norfolk. I would have used they for both pick up and drop off of my household goods. Strongly recommend this company.

The booking process was easy and is an online quote system. I referred my coworker to southside after receiving a reasonable quote. My coworker had a great moving experience as well. I booked my original move date for October and south side movers allowed me to move my entire deposit to a November move date! The guys showed up on time and called ahead. The guys were professional and worked hard. They ended up deciding to skip a meal
break so they could finish up earlier. I suggest being very prepared to get an accurate quote and to hurry things along on the move date. This saved time and therefore money. I will use these guys again if I must move! All three movers were friendly and professional and very upfront about timing of everything. Don’t hesitate just book with southside! Shop no further for moving professionals.
