Super friendly and helpful folks! Although the Lynnhaven Mall was closed, because the website hours hadn't been updated, they opened the store for the few of us waiting. Really appreciated this level of customer happiness.

Chris was awesome! He was knowledgeable about the products and had valuable personal experience to steer us in the right direction. He was also incredibly patient with us as we had our two kids (jumping in test beds with us!) while shopping. We highly recommend Chris at Sleep Number Lynnhaven!

This post starts out as a one, ends up as a 5 star..My husband and I went into the Lynnhavem location to shop for a new bed. After sleeping on our decision, we went back the next morning, and purchased. We left excited but still wondered if we should have went with the upgraded option. When our salesperson Brandon texted me thanking us for the sale, I asked the cost for the upgrade, if we switched. I asked for the total, out of the door price. Once he confirmed it, I said, Lets do it! He offered to switch out our bed, doing it all over the phone, no need to go back to the store. I was grateful for that. He completed the change and texted me that he emailed the receipt and we were all set. Awesome, right? WRONG!!! He then called me and said, by the way, "I was a little off on my math, but don't worry, you are all set and I was even able to keep the same delivery date." Then his next statement was, "mistakes happen to everyone". Well his "little mistake" ended up being $1,500 higher in cost. Brandon had taken it upon himself to charge that amount to our account WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE AND APPROVAL.He is a thief and I made sure to share all of his texts with Sleep Number as proof of him being a thief. Of course Sleep Number, being a highly reputable company, is making it right. It is just Disgusting that an employee could be so mistrustful and have NO INTEGRITY. SHAME ON YOU BRANDON FOR STEALING FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! A huge thank you to Brittany from Sleep Number for trying to instill our trust and correcting his errors. Your urgency to make it right, before the holiday meant so much to us. Then Alison, from the Newport News location, OMG!! What an asset as well. At Lynnhaven I had 4 salespeople who all conversed with us. Our biggest possible obstacle was if the mattress would fit in our custom bed frameAlison was the only employee that asked us knowledgeable questions and mailed out lifters to ensure we wouldn't have any problems on delivery our day. Regional manager, Brittney and Manager, Alison in the Newport News store, THANK YOU BOTH for saving our holiday and putting our minds at ease before our trip You both deserve a huge bonus for having INTEGRITY! The Sleep Number Company is EXTREMELY LUCKY TO HAVE YOU BOTH and so are we.

DONT DO IT!!!!!!!! RUN AWAY!!!!!!!The sales team was nice but then….After waiting almost two weeks to have our bed delivered it was missing a simple Carter pin. The delivery guys said that could not finish the set up without it but we could have the Carter pin shipped directly to us. I said fine, my husband can put a Carter pin in.After they left is when I found out more of the story. I was told they couldn’t just ship the $2 part out, Sleep Number is shipping the entire actuator arm AND I would have to schedule another delivery, another day off work.The soonest Saturday (so I wouldn’t miss work) would be a two week wait. This is a multi-billion dollar company and I am having to wait almost a month and jumping through all kinds of hoops because they can’t come up with a simple $2 Carter pin????!!!! Extremely unhappy and frustrated with their lack of concern. They have my money, why should they be concerned!!! Everyone I have talked to pretty much has been like…sorry, not my department, can’t help you. This HUGE company doesn’t have spare parts or the ability to overnight parts?When I suggested they keep spare parts on the truck for situations like this, CS actually told me I was the first one with this problem.Seriously??? Extremely unacceptable business practices!!!

Shopping for our mattress was so easy and our sales person Chelsea was great. No hard sell pitch knew her stuff got us in a mattress P6 and adjustable base perfect for me and my husband. I can finally rest so much better than the recliner. Can't wait for it to arrive. Definitely go to the store in Lynnhaven Mall Va Beach.

Andy is an outstanding person and sales representative. He is knowledgeable and professional and helped us buy a bed that best meets our needs. I really appreciated him not giving up on us and keeping contact with us throughout the buying and delivery process. We highly recommend Andy to anyone needing a new bed and good nights sleep.

DO NOY BUY!!!!!!! It’s just an over priced air mattress humming all night. SAFETY HAZARD they never tell you about the mold or mildew that WILL grow. Think about it. You are pumping air with humidity into the bed that will never dry. It will get MOLD!! If you have one take a look. They should be SUED!!! They will never tell you about the health risks or the noise level. DO NOT BUY it’s just an air mattress. And it’s less than a year old.

We enjoyed our visit finding a new bed. Chelsea was a great associate and answered all our questions. Being able to lay on the beds was helpful in finding the one for us.

Great mattress systems. Pray that you don’t need any warranty or service issues. It’s terrible. I’ve been trying to get my bed frame motor issues fixed for 2 months now. On hold for over an hour twice and left number each time for a call back that never came.

Would not recommend sleep number. Bed went flat within first 100 days & base started glitching. Customer service has not responded more than once.The first issue we had was within the first 100 days. We purchased the split king smart base. One of the mattresses was losing air to the point that I was on the hard base when I woke up in the morning. When it is flat you have no where to sleep! Based on this reason I would never buy or recommend a sleep number again... They were sending a replacement mattress, but we decided just to cut our losses and return the mattresses all together for a refund.Personally I did not find this as comfortable as tempurpedic. I did not sleep well on the sleep number and found it to be hot. We went back to the tempurpedic and I could sleep again. Sleep number does NOT take returns on the base. That was our stupid decision to go with sleep number. So now we were stuck with the sleep number base-- but just used it with our new tempurpedic.Then base issues started happening after we had only had the bed a few months. We kept getting errors on the remotes and kept having to reset the bed / unplug it. This was a regular thing for us unfortunately and extremely frustrating.I tried contacting sleep number multiple times and put my number in for a call back. Shocker-- they didn't ever call me. We are fed up with sleep number and the ongoing issues, so we are cutting our losses and getting rid of the bases.I would never recommend sleep number based on both the mattress problems within the 100 day sleep trial and the base issues we had. Live and learn. Consider other options before you purchase a bed that can go flat on you like an air mattress! And a base with so many glitches with no customer service support.

My sales representative was very pushy, and it felt like I was being sold a time share. I told the representative that I was going to sleep on it before buying one and he told me I was going to be leaving with a receipt. Really makes me question the product when a company is so pushy and feels entitled to a sale.
