When I walked into Silver Hill, I didn’t know what to expect. From the moment I walked through the door, everything was positive. It was clean, the tenants were all so nice and inviting. They have bible study, they have coffee each morning, with a breakfast small breakfast on Fridays. They have a library with two computers that you can use. There’s a gate that makes walking to the Food Lion shopping center so convenient. There’s lots of trees on the grounds. I can’t wait to see the crape myrtles in bloom in the spring. But the best gem is Stephanie. She is everything to that facility. She met us with kindness and professionalism. I truly felt like I had made a new friend by the time I left. Her enthusiasm for the place has made me so excited for my brother to start living at Silver Hill.

This people are so selfish they don’t care about seniors during such horrible time like the pandemic. Dirty claustrophobic hallways , no windows , all AC conductors are connected to all apartments , so every body was sick , ambulance calls , no sympathy from management.

The management at Silver Hill at Great Neck is awesome! They have stepped up to the plate every time for any issues. My mom recently move out after living there for six years and she loved living there, just needed her closer to home. Stephanie has done a such great job since she has arrived at Silver Hill! Thank you, Stephanie for all you did!

Silver Hill at Great Neck is a lovely 55 and plus community tucked off of Great Neck Rd. Very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and doctor's offices. Stephanie has taken great care in managing the community and making it a great place to live!

I just want to give a 5 star heads up to Stephanie and Chip. I have seen some bad reviews and want to remind people Rome wasn’t build in a day, and it will take Stephanie and Chip time to resolve issues. It seems ironic that some people don’t appreciate THE CAre they are taking to keep us comfortable.

On July 4th our elevator went down and I have to give props to and great thanks to Silver Hill, and especially Chip our maintenance man, for getting right on the problem and getting the elevator company out to fix it. Even though Chip’s holiday was interrupted he came out and did what needed to be done with a smile and a great attitude. Thank you Silver Hill and Chip for all you do to make sure the residents are always taken care of.

A few minor problems in my apartment and I told Chip I needed a few thing. Within a half-hour, there was a knock on my door and Voila!! There was Chip!!!! So professional, so helpful, and so competent!!!!

Brooke,Things keep getting better and better at Silver Hill Apartments.The renovations are beautiful. I was in an Uber a couple days ago. The lady that was driving me mentioned that Her mother was looking at moving into silver Hill. I told her I had lived here a year and had not regretted a minute of it . My husband and I recently moved to Virginia Beach from Florida. Prior to our relocating I arrived in Virginia Beach to start our "home search". After visiting many communities, Silver Hill got the AWARD! Greeted by Brooke and Sonya, their enthusiasm and professionalism made me feel like I was already "Home". Eager to answer any and all questions at onset, after my visit I knew Silver Hill was it! I returned back to FL to tell my husband "I found our next home". Relocating out of state can be extremely stressful. You can't just pop in the office when you'd like to when you have a question or need assistance, however, both Brooke and Sonya made my husband and I feel like we were next door. Phone calls and emails were returned promptly and before long I knew we were all striving for the same goal........a smooth transition for all. The maintenance staff were and continue to be very helpful and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure the resident's comfort is paramount. I have been in the Property Management arena for over 25 years. It is with pleasure that I recommend Silver Hill Apartments - where you'll find both "Perks & Professionalism".
