My husband and I came in here on a slow Friday morning to pick up some dog food really quick and waited 10 minutes at a register to check out and eventually left without what we needed. There were three staff members huddled in the dog grooming area that we eventually asked for help. We were told that there were “only two people available to run the register and one was busy with the fish” but given that there seemed to be no other customers in the store, it feels a little ridiculous that we couldn’t get what we needed before ultimately leaving to go to another pet store.

I had to shop for a customer and was unable to find all the three items on my list. The cashier asked for someone to come up front to assist a customer and I was helped by Tony. He was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. He found the first item quickly and when he was unable to find the second one, he went to the back to ask about the location. Turns out the item had been put in the wrong place. Tony then found the third and last item. He was so nice and didn't act like I was taking up his time. He is a great employee!

Terrible, would not recommend to call or go to for advice. Spoke to a manager at about 6:20 in the afternoon on Friday and I spoke to the manager and he deliberately told me that he would not help me out because it possibly might take the time out of other things he hast to do And then told me to go figure out whatever I was looking for by myself on the website, absolutely no help whatsoever. I am shocked by the amount of ignorance this place has. I was basically told to go on a treasure hunt to go find someone to help me when I asked the girl at the register if someone can help me in one of the departments. Instead of calling someone over on her phone, she told me “ yeah someone is probably in that department, you can go find them”. …. Seriously?. I had to go back up to the register and another girl helped me. Do better Petco.

Terrible service, i took my dog for a nailcut today and there’s a lady who booked our nailcut appointment and all, took my dog to the room and i saw she was yelling at my dog because my dog was nervous and didn’t wanna be there at the moment, however, how dare you yelling at my dog and getting paid for that. She had no patient and she left 2 of her nails without cutting them.
Whoever took my dog to give her nailcut, she had her hair dyed to neon yellow-ish color and she seemed so unbothered that i saw she yelled at my dog. If you have no patient for animals you better not work there lady. I am not paying anything that would hurt or confuses my pet. TERRIBLE!
