Kaylan is the absolute BEST!! We had a great experience working with her. Kaylan was always honest and kept us updated. She got us to close in 3 weeks (which normally would take around 45 days). I don't think she ever stopped working because if something changed at 10pm, she would text and let me know, or if I had a question late at night, she was up with her calculator answering me back about numbers. I very very very highly recommend OVM and Kaylan!

We worked with Connor McNulty at OVM Financial and had a GREAT experience! Connor was extremely knowledgeable- he was able to answer all of our questions quickly and correctly and helped us figure out the best way forward. We had so many questions so it was really great working with a lender who knew all the ins and out of various types of loans, what we could qualify for, etc. He was also super responsive throughout the whole process, very professional and got everything going very quickly! John was also very communicative and helpful as we got closer to closing date. Everything went through on time and as planned! 10 out of 10 we would absolutely work with Connor and his team again!

I would not recommend working with Martin Teig. The whole process working with him was a disaster and he was very rude. He threw it in my face multiple times that he was giving up his commission to get our deal closed and how he wasn’t making any money off of our deal but in the end, He lied and actually didn’t give up any of his commission. He would not get back to us about an issue we had after closing so we had to get in contact with his boss to handle it. Save yourself the stress and work with someone else!

A strong professional team. I’m happy to say they made my process easy. A great document signing process, I did enjoy their reminders on emails, this was a very busy time for me., I was very occupied with other business as well as home buying, they make sure I got those documents in to keep to the process moving along. Working with Delorn Smith and Maria Toney at OVM financial was nothing short of amazing. They were very knowledgeable and just amazing people to work with. Buying a house is a very exciting but stressful event, but they were amazing at calming my anxiety. They would answer my millions questions and it did not matter the time of day. I really would recommend them 100%!

This was my third time buying a house and Mike and the OVM team made it my easiest. Even living in a different city 2 hours away, Mike went above and beyond to make things convenient for me. He spent time and was patient with the things I needed help on, and he worked hard to ensure I was taken care of. Great guy. Great team. Would recommend

George and OVM Financial made the stressful process of buying a home very simple. The constant communication and explanation of info was so helpful. They were patient with me to field all my questions. They even worked with me and gave me a lower interest than expected and the closing costs help was much appreciated! This is my 3rd property and smoothest closing yet! I absolutely will do business with them again and recommend anyone else to do the same!

This is the worst company for VA loans. They know nothing of the process and do not care for military personnel at all. I was spoken to rudely by a team member and treated as if I am ignorant, I am currently in school for my Master's degree. Was told that because I am a veteran, they were taking a severe hit on the interest rate they "had" to give me. What type of crap is that? I would email them and then a week later I might be lucky enough to hear back from them, even then they acted like I was taking up their precious time. I had to call a completely different mortgage company to get the answers I needed. I wanted to walk away from this process a week before close as they left me hanging with no answers. They refused to answer questions as soon as they heard I had called the Veteran's Administration to get answers about the loan process because I went over their elite heads. Well, the VA now has proof that the responses are not forthcoming and this company does not help military families. Hopefully they will be blacklisted to the military. No apology from them will be sincere and they will not fix the issues they have now. STAY AWAY FROM OVM!!!!!

I learned A LOT during my process and am hoping that I can shed some light for others.Often times when applying for a mortgage, we only focus on the rate (which no mortgage company really controls BTW). BUT every mortgage lender can also offer INCENTIVES.Everything with OVM started great. Then after some growing frustrations with the team I was working with, I decided to shop around. And GLAD I did!! It was then that I discovered that mortgage lenders have the power to offer things like lender credit, free appraisals, etc. which really helps save you some out-of-pocket costs at closing.So long story short, I decided to switch mortgage lenders. At that point, OVM was throwing everything at me that they could to entice me to stay. The whole time while they were “charming” me, I kept thinking “why are you offering me this now?!? Where were these incentives from the beginning?!?”Didn’t seem very ethical to me and it really irritated me that they went out of their way to charm me while holding back the entire time. I felt “dooped”.Bottom Line: Shop around! Realtors often refer you to lenders they like working with, but again these lenders do not control the rates so don’t get too focused on that. But just remember that there is A LOT that these lenders CAN do for you. And often times, places like OVM reserve those incentives for that hail mail pass to get you to stay when they should have been giving you those options from the start!Happy shopping!

James Oaks headed up all of my financial services on short notice, due to the previous lender dragging their feet.James is a great guy, and he made everything very simple as far as the process goes. He was timely, informative, and very responsive.He took what was a train that was about to be derailed, to one that was on track to be approved before closing, and for that, I am very thankful!I would definitely recommend using James and OVM financial, especially as a 1st time home-buyer turned homeowner.
