“Customer service extraordinaire! Greatest selection! It’s worth spending more to obtain some of the best plants available in at least 100 miles of my home. McDonalds product availability for gardening is extraordinary! I have always found the products I need not available anywhere else.
I would like to recognize several employees, Andrea, Rachel and others for their helpfulness in ordering products and best communication that you rarely find anywhere else in retail. I rate them 6 out of 1-5.
I hope McDonalds rare customer service continues at this level in the future. Thank you for your superb quality in all aspects of product and customer service!

“Four Seasons always has quality materials and plants and are friendly to work with. Their mulch and premium soil I have been using in my community garden and we grow healthy foods to feed the vunerable populations of our community. Good stuff!”
“I love this store! The employees are always so helpful when I have questions about a do yourself project! It's easy to get in and out of. I am there weekly!”
“I had three different things I needed help with. Joe was very helpful with all three, even though we couldn't get two accomplished. It wasn't for lack of effort on his part.”
“I love these Taylor's stores. They're expensive but very high-end and the staff working inside are really friendly and happy to lend a hand to help you find what you need to solve your problem.
They have some super nice seasonal items available, beach-themed goodies to take on the sand with your family and others.
This location is a bit tricky due to the never-ending construction but it's easy in and out and plenty of parking.”
“I went here a couple of months ago for a shrub I used to own years ago and loved, but have found that no other nursery or garden center between Va Beach to Newport News were selling it except for Coastal Landscape & Nursery. Their inventory online let me know they had it and they had a large quantity of this shrub in 2-3 pot sizes. I went there for this one particular shrub, but was blown away by the quantity and variety of plants at this place and the size of the property. The property is so huge that you are better of using one of their golf carts to ride around in. It's basically a plant mall. The list of plants online at their website is great, but DEFINITELY not complete! They also have separate, adjacent land just for the trees. The location of Coastal Landscapes & Nursery is a far drive from most places in Hampton Roads area, but worth it.”

145 London Bridge Rd, Virginia Beach“The people here were very nice and willing to help me out. Chris was the who suggested the special kind of soil for my plumeria and hibiscus plants. Once they are growing, I will post a picture. Thank you again Chris. You got a new customer for sure.”
“We have had Winesett landscape 2 homes for us beginning in 2008 and we’ve had them back each spring to refresh the landscape and make any changes or additions we wanted. The results have been nothing less than spectacular. Several of our neighbors hired them after seeing the results we enjoyed. We have never been disappointed with their performance.”
“This is much more than an ordinary garden center. You can find all your garden needs here. The store is huge, clean, and neat. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The store is easy to navigate and well stocked. They sell outdoor furniture, clothing, and accessories. They have a restaurant inside named Sage Kitchen. The restaurant has inside and outside seating. They are very family-friendly. There's a play area outside for the kids, an arcade, and put put golf on site. There's plenty of pots and garden decorations to choose from. They have healthy, beautiful plants for sale. There's plenty of parking. Prices vary on items but are reasonable to high.”
“The folks working here are so friendly and sincere, not just a fake good morning! They genuinely want to help you find whatever you are looking for an are very helpful offering advice or help in loading you car. Richard is terrific! Steve”

“Wow! What a surprise. It's larger than I thought. I've been driving past for years but needed something nearby today and specifically needed a few plants and some dirt for a project so decided I was coming. I found tons of home decor and garden items inside the small shop as well as a full USPS store open 9-5 Monday-Friday. What?! Andrea was amazing. She helped so much and was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the plants inside and how to care for them. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for and made it super easy. She also helped us get the right potting soil mix and some tips. Signed up for a rewards account which provides coupons, in-store sales and also some points annually to use in store based on spend. What's not to love?! This may be a new garden fav.”
“Awesome place to get your yard tools. I came in right before closing and was checked out very quickly. Thanks for the assistance from the professional service reps at Land & Coates. The STIHL products are great!”

2324 Elson Green Ave, Virginia Beach“This Home Depot is the closest to my house. That's why I come here a lot. Service is sometimes great and then sometimes staff ignore you when you need help. But They usually have what I need. Their plants are definitely over priced and I go other places for that but I shop there all the time. I'm only deducting one point for high price plants because 6 dollars for a tiny parsley is ridiculous. I absolutely hate bad service. Like I said you get good service sometimes too. So to sum it all up. Make sure you look at he prices of everything and speak up if you need help. Always show kindness”

I'm least concerned by all the warm and fuzzy feelings shoppers get from their favorite retailers. Home Depot is my go to choice for materials, yes their lumber mostly sucks like every other budget retailer, my answer to that is lumber order it out when the budget supports it. My point is as a rule of thumb Home Depot has a good selection of lumber and materials at a reasonable price. Their staff are reasonably knowledgeable for the wage they receive. I recommend this Home Depot.”
“Wanted Home Depot to know what a wonderful employee you have in Paul, in the paint department. He obviously knows what customer service is, what it should be. Paul came up to me and asked me if I needed any help ( a rarity today), proceeded to answer my few questions, walked me over to where I needed to be and physically showed me what he was talking about ( he didn’t just send me over to the general area). I got my few small cans of paint and then he asked me if I would like them mixed. They were just quart sized…. Could have done it quite easily at home with a stick… but he did it anyway. He told me how long it would take for it to be ready and where to pick it up. When I rounded the corner to pick it up, there were the wooden sticks and a can opener placed on top of my paint. It’s this attention to small details, the communication, taking the time… that adds up to great customer service. It may not seem like much…. but in today’s world… where kindness, professionalism, patience and customer service seems to have gone by the wayside…what Paul did- it meant a lot to me.”

“Had a wonderful experience at Home Depot today. Was ordering exterior doors and dealt with an employee named Luke. He greeted me so pleasantly with a smile and wonderful demeanor. He was extremely helpful, accommodating, and very willing to answer my questions. He got out of his chair and showed me different options and offered advice. It is sometimes so hard to find someone to help you; someone that will go above and beyond. Nowadays, it seems like bare minimum is what you get…and not even that much anymore. But this gentleman…. You can tell he loves his job and is extremely good at it. I really appreciate the time he took with me. Home Depot is lucky to have him. So impressed by him.”

2020 Lynnhaven Pkwy, Virginia Beach“I know, it's sometimes hard to give 5 stars to a store that everyone goes to out of need - that need for that caulk or bolt or light bulb to replace a burnt out one. Sometimes we don't think about customer service at a place where necessity drives the customers to the place, rather than whim or special occasions such as a department store or a fancy restaurant. And most of the time people just are happy that a store like Home Depot just has the item in stock. But I've had a couple of incidents where the service has been wonderful so here goes my 5 star rating. One night at around 8:30 when everyone's winding down for the day getting ready for the next , I decided it was great time to avoid the hot humid weather and the large crowds to buy bags of garden soil, top soil and mulch. Just have to get my new beds ready for fall planting! The garden center gates were closed, lights were dim and as expected, there wasn't anyone tending the garden center. I asked service desk to page someone to help me with the bags of soil and mulch. Not only was there someone who helped me load them in my cart, they even waited for me to pay for them and walked me to my car and loaded the bags - no requests needed - now that's customer needs anticipation and service! Then just last night I decided I couldn't make 4 trips to buy more than 25 bags of soil, mulch and gravel. So decided to order online for next day delivery. They indicated the merchandise will be delivered any time from 6am to 8pm. A truck came at 10:30am. A polite young man asked if it was the right address and where he can unload the items. He was very efficient, laid the bags very neatly by the driveway. I am not sure if the gentleman is a contractor for Home Depot or an employee - but service was wonderful. I recommend Home Depot's delivery service for $35 - well worth the gas, the mileage and the time it takes to go into store, have your car loaded for several trips!”
“If you ever need faster service, just wear cargo pants and a jacket with lots of pockets and go straight to the bits and blades aisle and touch everything. You will get out of this Home Depot and record time with everything you need and personally catered service from loss prevention or the power tools associate.”
