The movers were very polite and professional. They organized my furniture into my storage unit to my husband's specifications. We were pleased with this moving company.

Robert I was waiting for you to response let's start with the first appointment you advised my wife you would be there at 9am You didn't arrive until after 7:30 on top of that you try say you call with a 2 hour window but you were 7 hour late then you post about slander and defamation understand nothing is false or from a third party I send you the definition on phone and will be happy to send it again. Now about the table first you told me you wasn't the owner and your company was base out of Australia so I call them and they advised me that Mini movers was in The United States then you gave me a number from someone in Washington state I call that number 15 times line stay busy on top that you told my wife you had insurance so what so hard for you to cover my table everyday I call you it was like you gave me a run around so I called 3 professional company to fix my table because my table isn't over a year I send you a receipt with Stanley information you want to pick my table up and let someone you know fix it. Robert I advised you that will let the court handle it because you didn't want to so tell the people the truth or I screen shoot everything now you have a bless day .Try to fix the problem instead of getting up talking about a thousand people like your service. Again Robert keep saying he wanted to fix my table but he want someone that not insure and bonded. Robert it that was your table or car was damage would you want someone on the street to fix something you work hard for you would want the table fix right and professional what you need to do stop trying avoid the problem and own a company just like you and would had my insurance company handle that you trying to save a dollar when your company was as fault

So dishonest, he even false advertises BBB accreditation on his website, with a D+ rating. I doubt that fake customers and liars just want to ruin Reginald Geth...

I had to click on one star to write this review but honestly this company doesn't even deserve one star. I have never dealt with such a disorganized, poorly-run company in my life. I contracted with the owner to have my household furniture and two pianos moved from my previous residence to my new residence. The first piano was delivered as promised to Richmond, VA, and the company was paid promptly at the time of the service. The move from one residence to another was to take place on Wednesday May 3, at 4:00. They were two hours late and broke the marble top to my antique dresser as well as the wooden frame that goes with the dresser. This piece of furniture has been moved numerous times during my life and NEVER was there any damage. I packed everything myself, provided the moving tape and furniture pads, and paid more than was asked for. They ran out of time to move the piano and contracted to come back on May 4 at 4:00. They were two hours late the second day and refused to move the piano because they didn't have enough men to move it safely. At that time, the owner tried to say that I hadn't really "told him about how old the piano really was'" which was a complete untruth as I showed him everything I wanted moved when he came to give me the initial estimate and specifically asked if he could safely move both of the pianos. He assured me that he had 'moved many pianos before' and could move mine. I had to hire another company at the last minute to move the piano, which cost me twice what was necessary because I had to be out of the house by the evening of May 4. The owner promised to either replace or repair the marble top but as of today, June 12, it has not been returned. All attempts via email, phone calls, and texts have not resulted in the return of the top. As of today, I have reported this company to Angie's List and The Better Business Bureau of Virginia. I will never recommend them to anybody else. I have asked Angie's List to remove it from their list of recommended moving companies. I am frustrated beyond belief by this whole experience.

I used Mini Movers 757 to facilitate a move, this company also operates under a name Apex Direct Movers. The move was a complete disaster. It appears to me that the owner of this company is operating under two different names Bob Ozark and Reginal Geth. On Friday, 11/17 I got a call from two numbers and answered the second and it was Bob Ozark. He said he was ready to move me Saturday and that he could do it on Sunday if I was willing to work with him for less. I spoke to Mr. Ozark in my home for about half an hour. I told him about my reservation with moving companies because in the past I had tried this same process and was not satisfied and it ended up terribly. He scheduled the move for Sunday evening but said that there may be space on that day to get me taken care of. As promised at around 4:00 they showed up and were getting ready to facilitate my move. Once the moving truck backed up to my home two men got out and came in and one asked "so what are we doing". I showed him everything and we went upstairs for the few items that were up there and he said "yea, these have some weight to them. He (the other man) is not going to be able to get this down. You think you will be able to help me get this down?" To which I responded no, and then he said he was going to have to call his brother (another worker) to help him with the move. Then he said that he was not going to Richmond tonight and wanted to know if they could deliver the load in the morning. I told him no again lets go call Bob and get this situated. I called Bob and he said that there was a different crew to come in to drive the load to Richmond and unload it, he also mentioned that he was coming back with another worker to help with the load since the older gentlemen could not lift much. So after the complaints the two guys their eventually got to work and the third person showed up and they began making progress removing items from my home. During the move the workers broke my 15 gallon fish tank as well as damaged my walls. I led and noticed the truck was not behind me but wanted to get a head start down the road to get my new residence ready. I arrived about 8:15/ 8:30 and got things straight on my end. At about 9:15 I called Mr Ozark to get his ETA to see where he was at. He told me he was in Newport News with my things and said that he was going to deliver them first thing in the morning. This made me extremely upset because he misled me in his original comments to think that this move would have been completed that night. Then he made excuses about his team, I finally had heard enough and told him to just get the truck to me and that I would get people to unload the truck myself (which I did). He then told me he would get me my things on the road and that he himself was on the way with my things. I waited a while and then at about 11-11:30 P.M. I began calling agin. After many unanswered calls I then reached out to my local police department because I had feared that they had ran off with my belongings. The truck with my belongings pulled up to my apartment at 1 AM with a different crew than had loaded my truck. I looked for Bob Ozark and he was no where to be found. Since this unload I have been met with unprofessional behavior by Mr Ozark. He called the next day looking for his payment; he demanded I pay using a card and I told him that I would not, but I would put a check in the mail for the services rendered. He has threatened me if I did not pay by saying that his employees would not be happy with me if he had to tell them that I did not want to pay them. I realized that I am indeed missing two boxes of clothing. I have reached out numerous times to ask for these items and have received no response. He will not answer my calls and will answer when I call from a different number. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

You will be disappointed. Break my drawer told me it was broken. Gave me a quote before they load unprofessionally and hold my stuff in their truck until I pay a different high new quote.
Dishonest & thieves watch out.

Wish I could give NEGATIVE stars and obscene emojis. "Red" and the mini movers are TRASH movers. They're disorganized, unprofessional, have poor customer service & should be reported to BBB. My wife called initially on last Friday, 8/24/18 and got a quote from Red; he stated he'd send her an email confirmation same day, he never did. She called 3x this week and every time Red said he remembered her and would send the email, then abruptly hang up on my wife. I called today to try one LAST time to get the email with our morning confirmation and quote only to discover that because of his disorganization he double booked the movers for sat and essentially gave our slot away. When confronted, he gave no apology, only a " what # does she have, she could've had the wrong# . He failed to take accountability for his inability to f/u . Smh, no sir, she spoke to you and you kept lying . I hung up and proceeded to make my review. DO NOT MOVE WITH THEM.

I am so glad I chose Mini Movers for my moving needs! Immediately I felt comfortable with the overall energy and their willingness to work with my moving needs. Making an appointment was done without stress and was super easy! I love the availability and flexibility! From the start of my move until the end I was reassured and felt comfortable entrusting Mini Movers with my valuables. I love the fact the staff moving my furniture was communicative with one another and with me in regards to what was best/safe for my belongings! Super friendly and job very well done Mini Movers! I will keep you in mind if I ever need your service again! You exceeded my expectations! Awesome work!

Do not use this company! The movers were awful and unskilled. Damaged many pieces of my furniture and the wall. Took one piece of furniture with them that had been damaged significantly to "get repaired by a bonder..." Over a week later, no furniture. Repeated calls and messages with no responses. Many times I have been told my "furniture will be there today..." to have them no call and no show! Somehow the gentleman I am dealing with currently seems to behave as if I am to blame?! Go figure. He will not pick up the phone unless I call from an unknown number! Very rude. Very unprofessional! As I still wait for my furniture to be returned I would DEFINITELY not recommend or wish this service for friend or foe. Again I repeat-Do not use this company if you value your belongings!

This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with any service I have ever used. They were an entire day late without calling. I rescheduled for the next day and they were late again. This was after I had prepaid for the service. They mistook me for another customer and called to confirm a move literally 5 minutes after I had rescheduled. The point of contact was rude, disrespectful and completely unprofessional. He began yelling and screaming at me when I questioned their lack of timeliness. It mind blowing that these people own a business

I hired this company on a Groupon and I certainly got what I paid for: I was told the movers would be at my home between 9:00-10:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. No phone call by noon so I called the owner to ask where they were. It was explained they were behind and would be finishing up another job and headed to me soon. My appointment was 9:00 a.m. Seriously? This was a Sunday morning. I'm sure they just forgot my appointment. After two more calls to them, they showed up at 3:00. Had I known that, I would have made other plans in the morning!! Now for the best part..As the moving crew dragged a 200 year old armoire from my storage shed, 8" of the bottom panel broke off. (It's solid oak btw!!) After loading my items on the truck, they ask if they can stop to have lunch at their favorite eatery close to my home. Fortunately the eatery was closed so we moved on to the storage unit. There they dragged the armoire again to break off the last remaining support on the same side of the armoire. Granted the owner did try to call my cell as I was away from my phone in shock of the result. The men quickly left and When I did call the owner, he was upset with me that I didn't call immediately and have him come out to see the crew and assess the damage. He assured me however that he would meet me in the near future to have the piece repaired. That was a month ago. I have emailed the company, text and left voice mails with no success. This was my first moving experience using professionals (and I use that term lightly) to do the job. NEVER would I recommend this company to anyone!!!!!

We were scheduled with Apex Direct to move at 2pm on 8/5. I called Reginald Geth at 1:04pm to verify our 2pm start time. I was told by Reginald that they were finishing a move in Chesapeake (we live in Virginia Beach) and they would be a little bit late. I called again at 3:10pm to see where they were. I was told that they were on their way and requested our address. At 3:46pm I called them again and was told they were putting the address into the GPS and would be there soon. The move crew did not get there until after 5pm (3 hours late). I am 6 months pregnant so I headed to the new house to get it ready for the movers to head over. My husband calls to inform me that the moving truck they brought with them was broken and would not be able to move our things. Reginald brought a van of more people to help move (when we needed a new truck, not new people). The original crew warned us that the two guys that were replacing them, one of them was known to steal. They were careless with the offload, and broke a mason jar (which we cleaned up, they denied it). They were initially leaving one man in the truck at all times, so I stood outside to watch them offload. They both started to offload after this. My husband finally convinced them to bring a new truck and didn't arrive to the new house to offload until around 7:30pm. The offload was finally completed at 8:17pm, when I called Reginald to arrange payment. Reginald had quoted us at $250 when we originally scheduled our move. He told my husband he would not go below $200, but he talked Reginald down to $175. After the move and how careless they were with the offload, I called and talked him and got him down to $150. When I called Reginald at 8:17pm, he had asked us for $125 in cash. My husband went out to pay them and they drove off stating they never saw him. Reginald then came to our new home the next evening to collect the $125. On 8/12 we were unpacking our bedroom and saw that our tv was broken. He denied that the damage was done by his crew. I recommend any company besides Apex Direct Movers/Mini Movers.
