I always come here to get my hair done. She always keeps my hair snatched every time I come. I tell Her what's up with my hair and she always treats it the way it needs to be treated. The owner is always so outgoing and inviting.

As a parent of an autistic child, finding a salon to get my daughter's hair done has been a challenge. I can't say enough great things about this place! The patience, understanding & professionalism far exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere is calm & pleasant, nothing like your typical salon with blaring music, excessive traffic & chatty & distracted stylists. Lasha not only took her time but educated us on care & upkeep. This was hands down the best experience we've ever had in a salon. I look forward to going back soon.

Any establishment being open on a Sunday, that caters to the working class is the reason I've given them 2 chances. HOWEVER, the lack of integrity- towards Your own and judging based off hair or "what You don't want to do/what You do for a living"... is why I'm writing this. The owner, I presume, assumed My hair wasn't able to be put in rollers. This is the SECOND time I've give her the opportunity to give My hair the love it needed. I expressed this to her as well! She giggled. To which i hoped she would take that as an opportunity to "provide the best customer service". When she washed My hair... very ruff! Again, my hair needed the wash... so I dealt with it. But she scratched My scalp. Then it came time for rollers.... My length isn't the longest- yet, much longer than some others. Being from where I am- Im well educated on wash & sets as well as which rollers fit in my hair. So i specifically requested a particular color roller. Based off of that color roller- the parts can not be as big as other roller colors. She parted big the second roller attempt she began to get frustrated and pulled them out my hair, "it's not staying- it's not staying". She lacked effort! I explained to her that I needed a certain color. She claimed she tried it all... BS.! She chatted her nonsense rudely about how she been doing for a living blah blah blah. This is when I decided I was going to YELP. Eventually, as they did to Me My 1st visit- LITTLE BUNS IN MY HAIR!!! not to mention... it took My hair almost 2hrs to dry because of her lack of effort & professionalism! When time to pay, she said "You good!" While opening the door. Now... ok "I got my hair washed for free" but not leaving with what I left My home for on My self care day... is what's ridiculous. I do not appreciate nor respect when My own people forget where and why they're in business. I expect better. Not to be judged. The job was not executed... as a customer I AM NOT SATISFIED. Never bully a client to blow dry their hair when They say they do not want to. Because you're lazy!

This was my first and last time going to this salon. I got a shampoo and blowout and the style only lasted for a few hours. By the time I go home my hair was already poofy and drawed up. The lady that washed my hair dud an excellent job. However, the lady that does the blowouts ws loud, unprofessional and very insulting about my natural hair.
I feel like I wasted my money. Highly disappointed!!

Definitely not the place to go to get what you need done. They will tell you what you need done. At the end who is paying? Yes, personal hair opinions are always welcome regarding one's hair but at end we will all get done what we need, want, or desire for that matter. I wanted to get my hair washed and straightened. I'm used to getting a wash and set , deep conditioner, blow dried and flat ironed. Got everything but the flat ironed part. Owner considered I could damaged my hair more but in reality it was to close to closing time and I was the only one there... not to mention i got there at 3pm they closed at 6pm and it was around 530ish... how long was I there for? Did i mention i was the only one there??? Yes, they spend more time cleaning, since trying to close early etc... I wasnt trully happy but that was that. I went there like aound the beginning of the yr...first and last time I've gone and not going back for sure. I'm so glad this ain't the only Dominican salon in va beach.

HORRIBLE HAIRCUT. Sasha is a great person, does amazing blow dry!!! and i’m so sad I have to leave a review like this, but it was the first time i try anything there other than blow drying. i had longgg hair and said i needed to trim split ends and also trim my bangs a bit. She chopped my hair off and it was sooo uneven!!! she never trimmed based on the layers i had before and i went back home to realize even the bangs were uneven and doesn’t even blend with the rest of my hair. i was soo disappointed, i got this haircut one day prior to my flight and went on my vacation with messed up hair and now i have to find another hair salon to fix this! i’m paying twice now that i have to do it again, which will force me to cut my hair even shorter now that’s necessary if i want to fix it. ??????i wish she could’ve communicated with me what she could and couldn’t do.

this was not good at all. the girl who was doing my hair was pulling it, I wo not go back again. they have a nice rate that's why I'm here but when I did it... not the best to go to I been sitting here for two hours waitin. and there is more people they been waiting for 3 hour.

I was in the salon for two hours. The lady left to T-Mobile and was supposed to cut my hair and finish it. This is how my hair looks. Supposed to take pictures for my graduation ?. I looked at the reviews before and really loved the vibe inside. But that was definitely not cool.

Lasha is worth her weight in gold! If you're a walk-in her skills are worth the weight. Getchu some hair education while you're there. She loves to share her 20+ years' experience to make your hair the best and brightest and most beautiful it has EVER been!
