Camellia, Josh and George and the rest of the staff at Magnolia Run have made our experience so welcoming that we feel like family. All of our work requests and questions are taken care of in a fast and timely manner with no stress. I’ve never lived in a community that is as engaging like Magnolia run. Since we have been here we have attended two community parties that are extremely family and neighborhood focused.Thank you so much, Magnolia Run for the love you give the residents of this apartment complex.

I love the neighborhood & management! I feel so safe here, any minor problem if any they solve it fast! Spacey homes , good neighbors , clubhouse event everyone feels like family! Camelia , Josh & George literally stopped by when I first moved in they check on all us often! They are on hand great communication so friendly an professional! I will never move! ?

This is a nice community to live in with a family of young children. It's very quiet and friendly. George, Josh and Camellia are always so polite and friendly. Whenever I need something fixed in my apartment it gets taken care of right away and done well. The grounds are always nicely manicured, the pool and clubhouse stocked and clean as well. I feel very safe living here. Overall it has been a great experience .

The complex is beautifully decorated with a homey feeling for anyone living here. The office staff ,Camellia and Josh, are great and really take their time to make sure you enjoy the process of finding your next home. George the on-site maintenance lead always takes extra steps in following through on any issues tenants have with their unit. Overall highly recommended for anyone searching for their next home.

Magnolia Run has really become a place me and my family call home. The high ceilings, built in fireplace, and all room remote ceiling fans are major! My unit is so spacious my family have no problem lounging around even with large furniture pieces. Camellia & Joshua are incredibly helpful. Camellia is always smiling which makes her very approachable. Josh is attentive to our needs which is so convenient. Any maintenance issues we encountered, George is prompt on getting it done. My fav perk about this community is the gated pool and gas grill which is tented and bar styled. It feels great to enjoy a swim on a hot day all while grilling.

Maintenance here is efficient and of high quality! George specifically fixed my a leaky pipe in my master bathroom that’s been bothering me for ages and was super quick and polite. Camilla working in the office is also very kind. Overall, I’m loving the staffing here, it’s efficient and they are all very polite.

It's sad to see all these 1 star reviews when, if you actually live here and aren't being evicted, you know are not warranted. Josh and Camilla in the office have been nothing but available and concerned when my air conditioner went out. I understand every unit will not have a brand new unit. When something stops working, I put in a ticket and they fix it. I just wish they required 2nd and 3rd story units to have mandatory renters insurance. My dogs give George in maintenance a hard time but he is very respectful and has a great sense of humor. He knows his stuff and I'm reassured the issues are fixed right the first time.

My daughter raved about it so much, my wife and I moved in to. Josh made the transition into the complex seamless. A few weeks after moving in, my water heater had a leak. I saw George in passing and he made it a point to come that day before i put in a web request. No complaints so far.

We’ve been living here for just over a year now and despite the property being a little older and having some hiccups when we first moved in, the staff on property always was willing to help and and showed sympathy along the way. The managers and maintenance team have had amazing patience and are always willing to work with you through any issues, especially if you keep communication going. They need more hands for their maintenance team however so you do have to be patient sometimes as they are over worked. There have been some rough tenants or situations that came to the property but it has always been handled properly and doesn’t reflect the properties morals. Contractors do become a bit of an inconvenience at times but that’s to be found anywhere and doesn’t reflect the property either as it’s out of their hands. But when things are fixed, it’s done amazingly! We’ve seen a lot of great changes since last summer and have lots of faith they will continue to keep making Magnolia Run a wonderful place to live.

Great apartment living.Magnolia Run has a lot of convenience going on. At most, I only need to drive 10 minutes to the nearest Target, Walmart, Home Depot, or Lowes. Dining for most major restaurants is also the same distance. VB Town Center, Downtown Norfolk, and the Beaches are a 20-30 min drive.The office personnel do a great job listening to residents and taking care of the buildings also. The company has also ensured to subcontract issues to fairly reliable businesses (AC, Landscaping, Cabinets) and will seek other businesses if the work doesn't meet expectations.Other great amenities that can be overlooked are the guest suite and clubhouse. The onsite guest suite is perfect for visitors or when families need to leave their apartment for a night or two while serious maintenance is being done. The clubhouse is available for rent, which includes grills, indoor prep area, outdoor patio, and access to the swimming pool.Overall, Magnolia Run Apartments is a great place for anyone who wants location convenience, reliable management, and spacious living.

It's disheartening to see how this apartment is detoriating day by day. We have been staying here for past 3 years and we have seen how things changed over the years. We have faced poor maintenance and no concern for customer satisfaction. All the appliances provided are very old but yes they are working with frequent repairing. They will not replace electrical appliances. The kitchen cabinets are broken. They have not been repaired or replaced even after so many service requests. Even the washing machines are so old. They never clean your clothes. your clothes will be full of lindt particles after wash . The worst part is the air conditioning of the apartments. They never keep your home cool during Summers. Our newborn baby is having tough time to sleep bcoz of uncomfortable room temperature. For most of the service requests they will simply close the tickets without even taking any action. For more than an year the lights of the hallway was not working. They didn't bother to change that. Finally they replaced after 2 years.Cockroaches are your daily visitors if you are staying in the first floor apartments.It's been more than a week since our dryer is not working. We have personally visited the leasing office more than 10 times to get it fixed even after raising a service requests. However unfortunately no one came to even check what's wrong.I will never recommend anyone this appartment. They are not even providing the basic necessities. I don't know why they have listed Magnolia Run as Luxury Apartments.

So put your feet up, kick back, grab a drink and disregard any and all of those less than 5 star reviews.. Better yet, throw some popcorn in the microwave and melt some butter! Because the employees, leadership and dedication from these individuals deserve an Academy Award!Camillia, Josh, George and Preston! Say it with me!!You will not find a group of individuals so fundamentally sound, professional and determined to progress the core values that any community so desperately needs. These vital factors and principles are the building blocks for turning a property into a community and from there creating a place we call home.Take it from me. I am very happy with my experience at Magnolia Run. It's a great place for my daughters, there are many other families that live in the complex and they love using the pool and the playground and riding their bikes or playing in the courtyard. I feel safe in the area and it's very convenient to shopping and my job.The office and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. I can submit service requests quickly and easily using the member portal. George and Preston have always communicated quickly regarding anything I need done to the apartment, and once when my air conditioner wasn't working well they brought a portable one to the apartment within a couple hours. Josh and Camillia are always available for questions I may have, and we always enjoy the events they put on at the clubhouse like pizza parties and other things for the family to enjoyI've recommended at least 5 people to move here, my family is very happy with our experience!

In my experience, living at Magnolia Run was really disappointing. Despite being advertised as a luxury apartment complex, I did not find any aspect of the apartment to be luxurious. I found myself frequently dealing with broken fixtures or appliances, the furnishings and appliances appeared to be of low quality, with the cheapest items available from stores like Home Depot. The kitchen was particularly disappointing, as it was both small and outdated, lacking even a basic appliance like a microwave.Broken appliances: The dryer appeared to be outdated and frequently malfunctioned. It took me several cycles of 1.5h to dry my clothes, but they still came out damp. Despite the maintenance staff acknowledging a general problem, it remained unresolved even when I moved out.Increasing utility bills: I would like to caution potential renters at Magnolia Run to keep an eye on their rent and utility bills. During my stay, I noticed a steady increase in my monthly rent, primarily due to rising utility costs. What was particularly frustrating was that I had not been living in the apartment for a few months, yet my utility bills remained consistently high. So How did it come with such high utility bills even though I was not using it?Terrible management team: I cannot stress enough how terrible the management team is at Magnolia Run. In my experience, they were the worst management team I have ever encountered. Communication was poor, and it seemed that they were not interested in resolving issues that residents faced. The apartment complex had some significant access issues, particularly for those living in the middle of the circle. Daily access to their apartment is required using a fireway. While it was reasonable to use the fireway for loading groceries and other items, the management team decided to put a chain on the fireway, citing complaints about cars using it. However, this decision was a no-brainer and caused a lot of inconvenience for residents. It seemed that management was more interested in addressing complaints than finding a practical solution that worked for everyone. This was just another example of their poor decision-making and lack of consideration for the residents. I also want to highlight the unprofessional attitude of the property manager at Magnolia Run. During my interactions with her, I found her dismissive and unresponsive to my concerns. Instead of trying to find a solution, she repeatedly told me that there was nothing she could do. This was frustrating and showed a lack of empathy for the residents' issues. In my opinion, the property manager was not qualified for the job and did not have the necessary skills to manage the complex effectively.Security Deposit: I would like to bring attention to the checkout process at Magnolia Run. As other residents have mentioned, it seems that charging cleaning and carpet cleaning fees are a common issue when moving out of the complex, regardless of whether you did a good job cleaning the apartment yourself. In my opinion, this is an unfair practice and leaves a bad taste in the mouth after living at the complex. Furthermore, I want to remind future tenants that Virginia law requires landlords to return the security deposit within 45 days. However I still received my refund after 45 days of moveout, this only happen after I filed a complaint to BBB. I even reached out to the management team via email to question the cleaning fee right after I got the check out statement, but I have not received a response. Based on comments from other residents, it seems that charging cleaning and carpet cleaning fees are common issues when moving out of the complex. Well, although the cleaning fee may seem insignificant, I will definitely go to take legal action for it only because I would feel remorseful for all the effort I put into cleaning.This is undoubtedly the worst apartment I have ever lived in. I strongly recommend that you do not apply for it.

I freakin love this place!!Don’t even get me started on the office staff( in a great way!) They are always professional, nice, and welcoming! Maintenance is pleasant and speedy as well. Of course nobody is “Perfect” but they come close in my opinion especially coming from a hell hole of a prior apartment complex i was at before. I honestly have 0 complaints! Keep being great!
