Small but efficient! These ladies are working hard to see everyone! There’s only 7 chairs in the waiting room and when I walked in at 9 am on a Thursday I took the 5th chair. I had an appointment but due to the staff shortage I’m not sure they were able to hold to those as much as you would hope. But 40 minutes later my draw was done (done well) and I was out! Super nice staff but they definitely need more people! The 4 stars is for the staff doing their best and being kind in a situation that could definitely push someone to act otherwise. And let’s be real 40 minutes isn’t bad for labcorp! And I got my results next day.

Overrun with people. Standing room only. Scheduling system down. Felt like a social security office! Nightmare of a place.

2 people staff for many as 11 people waiting for service with at least 5 people standing. was told owner or owners didn't want to spend any more money to hire additional help.
very sadly run company in my opinion & I will not encourage anyone to go to this business for any reason whatsoever. staff at this place had a don't give a damn attitude & acted as if they had any patience with customers.
very bad visit anywhere that I've ever visited & I will never ever return & if you want to wait 2-3 hours to be seen here at this company, BE THEIR GUEST!!!!!!!!

I very rarely give any place five stars simply because my own personal preference. This LabCorp absolutely deserves it. Place was clean. The ventilation was great. The staff was absolutely amazing! Extremely professional, kind, courteous, timely and above all else personable. I was not a number. I was a person looking for a service and they provided that service top notch! If I need any lab work done outside of my doctor's office this is the only place I'm coming. Valencia and Tiara make a great team.

I did have to wait 30 minutes after I checked in for pre-scheduled appointment, but the check in process was very smooth (on my phone) and I could wait in my car. The lady at checkin was very friendly. She also did my blood draw and I was very pleased with the sanitized steps she took in the process.

The staff here are extremely professional and kind. The Young Lady (Ms. Valencia) that took my blood did a fantastic job and answered all my questions and concerns.

I was a little bit concerned, seeing all these negative reviews. Maybe they got a different crew now, my experience couldn’t have been better. I’d say it’s one of the best Labcorp location in town.

I’m not quite sure why the reviews are so bad. The wait time was absolutely unacceptable, especially since I had an appointment, but when I went in I realized they only had two people doing the job of ten! The woman manning the front desk had to check-in patients, decipher and input cost codes, collect insurance, AND draw labs herself! She had one other lab tech helping her and when I was there it appeared as if they were set to work right into their scheduled lunch time. I think all things considered this place is doing the best they can with what they’ve got. I will say I hope they will implement some sort of policy that ensures those with appointments are seen before, at, or at least near their scheduled appointment time. I waited over an hour to be seen with an appointment because the place was FULL with walk-ins. Maybe schedule walk-in hours, or only accept X amount of walk-ins an hour when there are appointments scheduled. I just wanted to say thank you to these wonderful and hardworking women at the Virginia Beach location.

I had a great experience, the lady who took my blood was extremely nice. I don’t like needles and she kept checking on me and honestly I barely felt anything. The lady at the front desk was sweet too!

Petrina King is the most wonderful and encouraging person who has ever done my labs. I would wait 3 hours just to sit with her for 5 minutes. Her skill was exceptional, barely a pinch. She was fast, and everything that came out of her mouth was encouraging and life giving. What a gift she is. Thank you Petrina!!

Short staffed and extremely rude. I had an appointment when i entered they said the kiosk was down to just write your name on clipboard. Then i see they’re calling back people after me so when i questioned them, they said i didn’t sign in online??? I had only received a link to scan the QR code. So when i said that; the one phlebotomist gave an annnoyed sigh and snatched my lab slip from me, like it was my fault for questioning. Phlebotomist’s sweater was ripped at the cuff and gross. As a nurse i know that’s a no no in the lab. Not clean. UNPROFESSIONAL!!
