Do not bring your children to this daycare, they are unequipped they do not know how to do their job. They complain every day and they have no structure. Several teachers have quit for the same reason. My children did not like going either. They make it seem like children are so problematic because they are untrained.

I went here back in the 80s and it was a little intimidating cuz all the other kids were older, but daycare had a Popeye The Sailor arcade machine that you could play without needing to put the in quarters, which I thought was so cool, plus I will never forget that this is were I first saw Artax die in the NEVER ENDING STORY.

My daughters attend this daycare for a year , I was sad when we moved away , they are a great team of child care professionals and they were very patient and understanding with my youngest who struggled with ADHD ! I love them! Shout out to Mrs. Carla & Mrs. Mary !!!

They will let anyone pick up your child, not knowing if the child is in danger or not! I don’t want to give them any stars to be honest!

We were sad to leave this daycare due to being stationed elsewhere. They treated our son as if he were family. My son has ADHD, the staff here was amazing with him. Some of the teachers taught him coping skills when he would get overwhelmed. They also gave him responsibilities which he loved. He went to this daycare for a little less then 4 years and if we get stationed back in VA Beach I pray they have availability!

I was working there for a year. I started off as an infant teacher, once we came back from the Pandemic I was promoted to assistant director. I ended up being the assistant director, the cook, the substitute, and a floater. I was only getting paid $10. The only perks about working there was getting free lunch, the coworkers that I was working with at the time, some of the kids, and being able to wear what you want. The director constantly played favorites, it was so hard to get a day off, the director would make you feel guilty about them being understaffed, and kids were allowed to do whatever they wanted. The owner is very kind. Would I work there again? No. Would I visit? Yes.

I’ve worked there for three years and I gotta say with the bad days there’s also good day to hide the bad days and it’s professional the director and the owner are on top of everything making sure your doing everything your suppose to do. I would say it’s a good place to work to have your kids great Atmosphere

After reading the reviews and speaking with the owner I was so excited to schedule a tour... that was until I read all of the violations this place has... including mishandling of children by staff and even having to receive medical attention.. please do your research more then just reviews... Virginia department of social services website will list all the facilities violations...out of 18 inspections they only passed 4 :(

I'm very skeptical about who watches my child especially because this was her first time attending daycare. I decided to go with just for kids because it was very close to my job and I wanted to be able to stop in unannounced periodically. it makes me feel very comfortable that everyday I get a detailed report telling me how my daughters day went. All of the staff is very friendly. I think they could tell I was nervous about leaving my daughter so her teacher actually sent me pictures while I was at work of her threw out the day. I will not be going anywhere and feel very blessed I have found them.
