It's sad when you feel like you were taken but that is how I'm feeling about this vet. We had brought in our dog to be treated for a cough. We had our initial appointment and our follow up in which we felt we were heading in the right direction. Well all of a sudden my dog had quit eating. On day 3 we contact them about my dog in there care not eating and we wanted to bring him in. Well too bad they have no emergency appointments. No let me ask the vet if they would like to see the dog they are caring for. They just blew us off right off the bat.
Well we go in the next morning, they look him over want to keep him overnight. The first charges are $500 then I'm given a $1200 estimate total. Well the lady we are speaking with knew from our conversation that I wanted to leave because of price. When she then start knocking this price down, taking off things and said our total would be $948. I agreed to that left a $200 deposit and we left. Well we hear how great he's doing, the doctor ran all new xrays to look to see if 12 hours of treatment did anything. They then want to have him stay a little longer. Well that evening at 5pm we go to pick him up expecting a $948 bill. We get a $1198 bill. A $250 difference. I start asking questions and get treated like crap because I don't understand the extra charges. Part for the issue was charged for 2 days 48 hours of hospital stay. When I only used 28 hours. I guess I lose out on the 20 hours. I also got charged for 2-IV bags during that time which my dog is 3.5lbs. Sure he used 2 IV bags of fluid. That's a Joke.
Maybe some people can afford to throw an extra $200-$300 but for a disabled person when the estimate is given of $948 It needs to be that estimate. If things were getting added I needed calls. I didn't expect a $1200 bill when I get there. Then no one there can explain anything except to say the doctor could do what ever they wanted because I signed and the high estimate was $1600 which was BS. The sales clerk the day before pushed the $948 price knowing we didn't have the money.
Make sure to get a clear estimate, don't let them double talk you when you want to leave. It's really sad because we thought we liked this vet.

5 Stars not to the Vet but to the front desk and the nurses that helped me and Breezy . Breezy is my service dog and he’s is doing so much better not thanks to the Vet but to the Nurses that were there . They can not say thank you enough.

My Abby was seen by Dr. Frye for her stomach issue on 26 February 2024. Dr. Frye was so friendly and compassionate and took care of Abby like it was her own. I’m very grateful for Hope Springs. Abby has made a complete recovery

I went here due to an emergency with my pet, he needed a surgery and was hospitalized for 3 days. After being hospitalized, I took him back for a grooming and a check up appointment a few months after surgery. When speaking to the staff at the grooming facility, the person checking me
in stated that my pet needed some shots before I could get him groomed. I reassured her that he is up to date on vaccinations and in the past, he was vaccinated more than once with the same vaccine, so I wanted to ensure I knew what kind of vaccines he needed. The lady helping me, which actually was the grooming facility manager, proceeded to tell me “Well, you don’t have to get your pet serviced here, you can get him serviced elsewhere”.. I proceeded to tell her “No, he will be serviced here, I would just like to know what vaccines he will be getting”.. she then proceeded to be rude again & I asked for someone else to finish assisting me. I asked the lady to ensure that when my pet was ready to be picked up, that I received a phone call.
I went to go pick up my pet and was met with no information regarding how the appointment went and whether he is doing better post surgery. They were able to get in touch with the doctor, she spoke to me while out rock climbing and proceeded to tell me that she told someone to make sure they gave me a call to update me that bloodwork would be back on Monday & that she would speak to me then.. although no one did !
I asked to speak with the manager specifically about the grooming by incident and received a phone call from a “Tiffany Schaffer”. I proceeded to explain what occurred with this very rude & disrespectful worker & she proceeded to cut me off while I was talking, to try and prove whatever point she was trying to make. She was not interested in taking the time out to consider the negative feedback to correct her employee & ensure overall professional business! She was solely interested in proving her point, not letting me talk, and making the decision to discharge me from the practice entirely. I’ve had two different mishaps before that and I was willing to look over them, but after this last mishap.. I was very disappointed and wanted some reassurance from the person in charge that what occurred would not happen again ! Instead, the manager of this local got very hostile with me, very rude, talked over me the entire time, and furthermore discharged me from the practice because she felt like it. So unprofessional!!!
At the end of the day, a stellar business always starts with the management so it seems as though they need to do some moving around so that they can have a manager with actual customer service skills ! The manager should take some classes on customer service and professional development so this business can actually thrive because from the looks of it, she seems to be a common factor.
Do NOT go here. On top of my pet possibly not being okay after almost dying due to a horrible infection, after picking my pet up from the groomers, he was so shook !!! He looked as if he was being tormented all day. I’ve never seen my pet that way after leaving the groomers, he was so scared, literally shaking !!!!!! Furthermore, his hair was very matted up & dry. Like, did they even groom him ??
Save yourself some $$$ & go elsewhere.

Overall a good experience there. It would be nice to get occasional updates during the day when performing blood glucose test. A quick text msg would do wonders for the owner.
